first, I purchased the Govee ambient light package with camera, because it's cheaper and has lots of 5 star review, after I install and use it for 1 night, I could not stand the latency and inaccurate of the ambient light, also the default purple or orange light when the TV picture showing balance, which is NOT immersive at all. So I returned it and searching for other product, which I found this Lytmi box, using pass through HDMI signal to detect the color change on the TV display, which per my understanding shall be much better on the accurate and latency of the ambient light, so I purchased this Lytmi, and it proves I am correct! the 4K 60hz signal first comes from my Apple TV box in Lytmi box, than out to my TV, so the Lytmi box could monitoring the HDMI signature for color change, and this has created a zero latency (to my eyes) and very accurate color Changning ambient light, exactly matched with the TV picture! :) also, when TV picture showing as blank on the edge of the display, the ambient light also showing as black (by turn off that area), which is great! I do not notice any picture quality downgrade due to the HDMI passing through the Lytmi box first. FYI: the passing through signature support the signal up to 4K 60hz with HDR10 and Dolby Vision support, so if you want to use your PC or PS5 output 4K 120hz, I do not know if it will works or not. but for mostly other use: TV box (Apple TV, Fire TV, ChromeCast, etc) to TV, it works perfect

These lights look gorgeous and you cannot beat the quality for the price but there are some drawbacks I’d like to mention. 1. You cannot connect more than one hdmi cord. (You need to buy additional ports) 2. The instructions are are a bit unclear but after watching a YouTube video I was able to install it with ease. (Actual installation is fairly easy). 3. It does not work with applications on smart TVs it needs to be connected to something via hdmi in order to connect the lights so built in applications won’t work. 4. Personally I was having some lag issues at the start which I fixed with some disconnecting and connecting. I have the occasional flicker but it is not a deal breaker as the alternatives cost significantly more. Overall this purchase satisfied my needs and enhances the visual experience when playing games or watching movies. While there are some downsides (as with everything) I believe the pros beat the cons. Would purchase again.

Worked for a few hours, now it no longer allows video to pass through. The lights still work, but the HDMI signal doesn't reach the tv through the box.

Every single router has and supports 2.4ghz frequency. Whether your router wants to use that band is up to the manufacturer or your settings. If you cannot change the settings, do like I do. Go as far away from the router as possible, reconnect to the router until you get in the 2.4ghz range. 5ghz is faster but has a small range, 2.4ghz has a much farther reach. Go outside if you have to. Plug the box in, in the house, only your phone needs to go outside to connect to 2.4ghz during setup. Once the box is set up, it will stay on the 2.4ghz bandwidth. The lights are amazing and worth the effort. Installation was not difficult, set up was not hard either. I watched 4 movies back to back after installing these. They really bring movies to life. I got the 65 in lights for my 70 inch TV and the lights reach almost all the way out to the outer bezel, so the 65-in lights are more than sufficient for a 70-in TV if anybody was wondering. Brightness is really good, and can be adjusted. The adhesion is sufficient, at least for now. Only had them 1 day but definitely worth every penny and I would recommend this to anybody wanting to amp up their movie nights.

I have been wanting immersive lighting, however the Hue Sync box is simply too costly, especially considering it also requires Hue strip lights to operate as a TV bias light. I have tried several other HDMI options, each had significant flaws. I also tried the Govee version with the camera, however having a camera planted on top of the TV just seemed somewhat tacky to me. I saw this was on promo, I believe about 20% off and decided to give it a try. Physical installation was very easy. The adhesion was excellent & the corner bracket, while not perfect, are really good. The strips are a little difficult to clip in place, but they worked with a small amount of effort. Connection to WiFi was complicated. I had to go into my router settings & turn off the 5Ghz radio even though the 2.4Ghz radio was on. Once that was done it connected quite easily and I was able to control the lights with the app. Connecting to Alexa was another story. Documentation is woefully inadequate as this uses 3rd party skills & it was very easy to miss the check box for which product to use. After a few minutes on the phone with Amazon I did get it connected correctly. Lastly, the one issue I had with other options was how limited Alexa control was. I was surprised to find that this can easily be integrated into Alexa routines including selecting color & brightness, something other options lack. Color response is good, I didnt experience any latency issues. This would be 5 starts for me if documentation was better. Overall, I'm beyond happy with this purchase.

For the price this is a very good product and plenty bright but... there is a big but. It really only works for a 55" TV exactly. I bought the 55 to 24 option and they say you can cut the LED to fit. (Which you can and it's very easy). But the HDMI sync box isn't smart enough to know that you've cut the length. So the lights don't quite match the image of the TV. You have to have exactly a 55" TV or 75" (if you buy the big version). If you have to cut it will be off. When the screen is full of color you don't notice as much and it's still okay but because of this it's disappointing and I can't give 5 stars

I saw some reviews saying it wasn’t working when you plug it in or it was off a bit, but if you clip it right and click the button to set it to the track mode it works perfectly and is simple to install the colors are fine except where the cables show it shows a rainbow but all you gotta do to fix it is move them to a spot where it fits better

Thus really gives a whole new different feel to what's going on in whatever you're watching!! Its awesome and very accurate with the colors!! READ THE DESCRIPTION!! This is fine for me who runs everything through my PS5 but if you have a smart tv, it won't react with the apps installed on the TV. Only with whatever is plugged in through the HDMI. They mention so it's no surprise. It's not too hard to install, but It takes a tad bit of work. Honestly, amazing 😊👍

I love everything about this product. The install was super easy. When the instructions say don't stick down and pull up they mean it. It was easy enough to line it up before hand and slowly pull the backing off. It's still stuck down months later. Easy to setup with Chromecast. Doesn't work for gaming consoles but I switch the lights to a solid background or colors and it's great

Preis-Leistung ist gut. Reagiert 1zu1 mit dem Bildschirm und macht damit das Bild visuell größer. Habe einen 65" TV. Leicht zu einstallieren und via App auch gut zu bedienen.

La pose était très facile après quelques minutes j'ai pu profité des led. Les led réagissent très bien à l'image aucun problème constaté. Les led donne une superbe expérience pour regarder des films. La luminosité est parfaite en soirée un peu faible si la pièce est très lumineuse. Le mode musique est très gadget... En revanche parfait sur les films/serie/jeux vidéos Je recommande l'achat. Pas de déception que de la satisfaction.
