This play pen is well made. It is easy to assemble and is great to keep little ones contained in a safe area to play. I love the little handles that a smaller child can use to help pull themselves up into a standing position. I like the fact that it has a little door that you can unzip, I just wish you could lock it somehow so escape artists can’t use it to escape. As for small animals, I think this is a great idea! It has plenty of room for them to run around and keeps them contained.The mesh is well made and should hold up to most children.The bottom is not soft. It is only as soft as the floor you put it on, but that’s typical of all playpens. If you want a soft bottom, you’re going to want a mat or foam tiles.For the price, I think this is an excellent deal. I am very happy with my selection.

The positives-- portable- well made and no bent poles- extra parts- big enough to put a baby in with allots favorite play toys- everything fit perfectly together and only took 20 minutes to set up. (I had carpel tunnel so it may take others 15 minutes)Negatives-- when we’re moving the polls to pack this up sometimes the polls are hard to pull out of the sockets- takes about 20 minutes and brute strength to get this taken apart and packed up if you want to take it somewhere else.All in all this is a great playpen. You could easily buy this and put a baby play mat in it no problem. It is well-made, and it pulls together pretty tightly that I don’t think a baby could get through. And I wouldn’t be worried with a baby standing up or trying to using the top rails. It’s a great play pen.

This playpen is perfect! It’s not too big or too small, assembly was easy but tedious you’ll definitely need another person to help you build this but if it’s just you it’s still possible just a pain in the ass. I live in a small 800+ square foot apartment and it takes about almost all my free floor space in my kitchen just something to keep in mind if you’re also in a small space. If you plan on assembling and putting away after you’re done using it this is not the playpen for you believe me.. after you finish assembling it you won’t want to disassemble it. It holds up well against curious pets, I’ve put some weight on the bars when trying to clean up the inside or reaching over for toys and it has not broken or collapsed; I’m about 270 pounds btw. Easy to clean material, I personally don’t feel it’s too cheap it fits my needs and met my standards. Overall I would recommend this playpen for those who aren’t looking for something too big or something you plan on disassembling after use.

All in all I’m very happy with my purchase and would buy it again if ever needed.

There are alot of poles to put together but once it is finished this is a nice play yard.. I am using it for a puppy. It is very sturdy and the puppy has not been able to tear the netting. I would reccomend it

It was pretty easy to put together and seems pretty sturdy. The suction cups if you can call them that I got were completely flat so the don't suction to anything more of a anti slip. For babys learning to stand the bottom has next to no padding the little padding that is there won't protect at all. I had to add some thick blankets underneath it so when my daughter falls she doesn't hurt herself as I have hard wood floors. As for the frame it has some cushion around the top section but none around the rest of it which could be all fall points for a child against a steel bar. So far she usually goes backwards as she uses the sides to stand but might be a problem once she is learning to walk on her own hopefully not but something to keep in mind. Overall I give it 3 stars for the price does what I need but wish a little more padding was put in for safety.
