I spray us down but I also spray down all the screens/ doors, so they aren't hovering at the door waiting to come in.

Growing up on the Gulf Coast I've used off all my life. It's absolutely great for mosquitos and as long as have at least 30 percent deet it works for ticks also. Ticks are getting worse across the country and mosquitoes are carrying more tropical diseases so protection is more important every day. I don't like the smell or the oily feel, but it's way better than severe illnesses. The new "dry" stuff simply doesn't work as well. Love long and prosper dude. Stick with this stuff or stronger. Use 100 percent deet if you can tolerate it.

It works great I spray it under my overhang on my house. Not only does it work well it last a long time. Very good to keep the bugs away especially here in FL.

I wanted about 50% DEET in a manual pump spray, but the only thing they had in my state was 100% which melts most plastics (how to ruin your camera) or 10% which is useless. So I ended up with the pressurized aerosol which is wasteful.

I wear long pants. Put my socks over the pants and wrap 3 inch masking tape around where they join so there is no space between. I spray off around my shoes and pants. I used to get ticks all the time, but none since I stated to use this method several years ago.

I've gone on several hiking trips so far using this deep woods sportsman formula and I like it loads better than the traditional deep woods and the dry deep woods formulas. This sportsman version seems to last longer, feel less sticky on your skin, and less smelly. I would buy this kind every time if I could find it. We never had any issues so far with bug bites while using this formula and hiking in the woods, though we do stick to dirt trails.

Very good for control of mosquitoes.

Bought DEET for member of family that may be allergic to Picaridin. Worked just as well 100% DEET, but could not convince sig. other to apply to face which was a mistake. Spray away from eyes, and apply before getting dressed for better coverage.
