Great shower assistant
This worked great after I had elbow surgery and could not get my cast wet. It fit great even over the cast with no leaking.

Works great!
I purchased this after my son broke his wrist and had to have surgery and a cast. He has been using it for a few weeks now and it’s working perfectly! His cast stays dry and he’s happy to be able to shower easily. It’s very large and a thick plastic, so it will hold up for a long time.

Definitely works!
My husband recently had hand surgery, and we tried tying a plastic bag around his arm once. I said there has to be a better way and sure enough.... there is! This protective sleeve worked great. It was easy to put on and take off after showers and kept his entire arm dry. Definitely recommend.

Great product
This worked very well. Fit snugly & did not let in any shower water. I was not initially able to get it on by myself, but after my wrist got past the most acute & painful phase of the fracture/surgery, I could. Very helpful as far as increasing independence after an injury/surgery.

Perfect for what you use it for.
Works perfect. No leaking. Easy to put on. Thick. Little bulky but not mad about it.

Works! So worth it!
My son broke his right arm in June and we didn’t know these cast covers existed. June was a minimal Salter Harris Type 2 fracture and he only had to be in a cast for 4 weeks. He broke his arm at Boy Scout camp so spent a gross week with one shower due to lack of supplies and assistance, and when he came home we spent the remaining 3 weeks taping garbage bags to his arm, which was such a battle, he hated it immensely and showers became a real issue.Fast forward to beginning of September (first week of school!), and he fell and broke his left arm. (distal radius shifted fracture) We went back for a cast after the week of waiting in a half-cast was up, they redid his x-rays and found a second break (another salter Harris type 2 in conjunction with the distal radius shifted). He required surgery with pins. 🤦🏻♀️The sweet recovery nurse who took care of my son after surgery recommended looking for these on Amazon, said they actually work. So we did and we can confirm, they work and work well. It’s not shiny plastic like a bag, it has a frosted coating on it which helps with the water and to make it softer and more cloth-like. It’s still absolutely plastic, but it has a pretty good texture and feel to it; my son doesn’t hate it!My son isn’t a very rotund kid, he’s tall and slim for an almost 13 year old, his arms are slightly more muscular than I would say the average kid because we live on a farm and he lifts heavy stuff, like 50lb bags of chicken feed, etc. However, he still has baby muscles and his arms don’t convey his strength without flexing. I believe this would work well for kids and adults because the arm hole is small enough for thin arms but also stretchy to accommodate some bulk. As to how much… I can’t say. But if you’ve ever seen Jim Carrey come out of an animatronic rhinoceros, you’ve got a pretty good image of the arm-hole’s stretch capabilities. 🦏😏 My son can put this on and take it off by himself and he doesn’t need any help washing his hair now.My son had 4 weeks of cast and we’re currently 3 out of 4 weeks of brace, and just one of these is still going the distance. He has some holes that are still healing on his skin due to the pins, plus the brace so he’s still keeping his arm dry in the shower. He’s been washing that arm and around the pin holes separately. The bag is working fine both with the cast and brace. He’s technically allowed to wash without the brace but… I just want Mr. Accident Prone to wear a brace in the shower because our insurance just renewed, and I don’t think I can mentally, emotionally or financially take another break in such a short span!Consensus: Yes, get it! Save yourself the heartache and hassle, just get it.

Having surgery? GET THIS right meow!
Where was this when I had broken arms??? My husband recently had surgery, and could not get his arm wet for the 2 weeks he was in a splint. Having flashbacks to my teen years where I’d wrap my casts in trash bags and tape, I hit up Amazon hoping a better solution had been invented.Sure enough, I found this! It worked perfectly, and kept his splint bone-dry. I had to help him get it on the first couple of times, but as he recovered he was able to do it himself. For reference, he is 5’11”, 190, with long limbs. His splint went from his hand to 6” above his elbow. This was 100% worth it. It was far more effective than a trash bag at keeping his splint dry, and was a million times easier to prep for a shower.
