I love traveling and I've heard many travelers sing the praises of Merino wool clothing. It's pricey though, and when I found this zip up hoodie it was on sale for under $40 so I jumped on it. I was looking for the following: Warmth but also breathability, wrinkle-resistant, lightweight, stays fresh-smelling even through multiple wears.This brand isn't as pricy as several others but still when paying full price the hoodie would be around $100 and I would expect a lot from it at that price. I've been wearing it regularly for over a month now and my thoughts are that I like it, I don't love it. It is lightweight, I wouldn't say it's warm but it is breathable and good for layering. I think in a cooler climate it would be great under a lightweight down jacket. It doesn't wrinkle super easily and I totally agree that you can wear it, pack it, sweat in it, wear it some more and shove it in your backpack and forget about it, then pull it out and it will still smell clean and not be terribly wrinkled.My biggest complaint about this is actually the style. It's got an odd neckline that looks weird when you have it zipped up part way. Full zip it looks fine, unzipped it looks fine. Hope that makes sense, it's just styled oddly. Also, I feel like the company tries to make it sound like their stuff isn't made in China, but it is. They make a point to say "Designed in Seattle" but don't add where it's actually made. On the inside label it says "Made in PRC." Again, that's odd because most stuff just says it's made in China, right? I feel like PRC is a little sneaky because at first glance you might not think China. I am not faulting them for the stuff being made there, it's just a little disingenuous.

I’m used to wearing merino wool from Icebreaker and Wool &. This is a comfy hoodie but after only a week of daily use I already see a lot of pilling of the fabric. Only washed once with air drying.

I've had this for a few days, and here are my impressions: I washed it once as directed (delicate, cold water) and wore it for about 30 minutes, just sitting around indoors. I noticed several loose threads around the shoulder and underarm seams, and it is already PILLING like crazy in the butt and underarms. Just from sitting around in it for 30 minutes! I can't imagine this would hold up to any type of outdoor or athletic activity.Also, the way the neck is designed makes it uncomfortable to wear when zipped up all the way. The collar starts halfway down my breasts, instead of at the collarbone like most garments. As a result, the top of the collar digs into my throat and is super uncomfortable. It doesn't scratch, since the zipper pull is smooth and there is a fabric garage for it, but it DIGS into my throat and I must have adjusted it every time I moved for the 30 minutes I wore the thing.I really wanted to love this but it's neither comfortable nor durable, so it's going back.

Love this! Would give it a 5 if there was a little less pilling. Not sure if that's normal since wool.

I love my WOOLLY HOODIE! So soft that I sleep in it especially in the cold weather. I don’t like that there’s no drawstring but it’s still warm and soft.

Surprised by the quality of this finely knit, Australian wool sweater. The blue green is beautiful with a slight sheen and is warm and very attractive. If washed gently with a detergent specified for wool, it should hold up well. The seams and cuffs are well made. There are thumb perforations for hand warming. Great Christmas gift! The medium is per specs,roomy and yet sleek for 5’3”; 120.

I bought this jacket for a trip to Costa Rica. The lightweight wool is so adaptable. It added a layer of warmth when we were in the cold and rainy mountains but was equally good at keeping the sun off my shoulder at the baches. I wore it snorkling and on the boats to keep from getting burned. I wore it over my dresses when the eindy nights were too cool and with shorts and strappy t's in the mornings. It dried very quickly and looked fantastic even after weeks of being shoved in a day pack, dried over a line and periodically drenched.

I already own the matching joggers but couldn’t find the hoodie in the same beautiful deep sea color until I saw it on Amazon. I adore the merino fabric. It is comfortable, breathable and the fit is true to size. I recently ordered more items from the “Woolly” store on Amazon. Amazon also makes it incredibly easy to exchange or return.

I've only had this for a couple of weeks and it's already falling apart. A hole in the sleeve and I had to sew the top of the zipper back on. Lots of loose threads too. Piling/fuzzing is a concern as well. These fabrics do that of course. But not after only 5 wearings around the house
