Doesn't last long ,needs to be refrozen often

The product doesn’t fit all that well so it mostly cools just the back of the neck. I like that it is not hard and uncomfortable. It doesn’t stay cold for very long, the first time I tried it I was in my house and the house was in the 70s, next time outdoors in the 90s, both times it didn’t stay all that cold.

Life in the southwest desert this summer has been challenging, particularly in that I've had to spend too much time going from place to place in my car, which according to Las Vegas tv gets sufficiently hot to bake brownies sitting long in the sun. I keep a chest full of ice in car, covered with a reflective insulating blanket. Inside the chest, along with bottles of water, I am keeping this cooling tube, which I prefer to a towel full of ice around my neck. If I didn't do this, I think I'd explode. Great device to bringing down your body temperature quickly.

This neck cooling pack has a unique shape that wraps behind the neck and curves out over the neck artery and vein. This is really helpful for cooling as it will cool the spine, blood going to the heart and blood going to the head.It freezes quickly, even in the fridge. At first it's a bit of a shock how cold it is, and I thought I would need a cloth under it, but after a minute or so it becomes a good cooling sensation and not overly cold. The gel inside stayed cool for a good amount of time, considering you should not use heat or ice for more than 20-30 min at a time.Overall I think this is a good cooling option and recommend it.

Love that this product does not take much to freeze over. That speeds up the time before it is usable. However, it is rather stiff when it is frozen, and does not last as long as I would like.Even then, it still has plenty of functionality. I have tried positioning it around my neck, as well as around the top of my head (does not work as well as a cooled compression sleeve for headaches, but will suffice in a bind).Other that that, my main concern is if the product becomes punctured and leaks.

These frozen neck wraps are a quick, convenient way to quickly cool down. The horseshoe shape fits perfectly around the neck and is snug enough to keep from twisting around or falling off without being too tight. I'm able to wrap a cooling towel around it to provide a thin layer between my skin and the icy neck wrap and still be comfortable.These don't stay frozen for long-about an hour in 90 degree weather-not practical for an entire work shift but great for shorter tasks like mowing the lawn or outdoor walks.I chose to give the product 3 stars for that reason. At $14.99 for ONE neck wrap, one hour of cooling does not come at a bargain. The construction and performance does not justify the price. If there had been three in this pack and you could switch them out as they thaw, it might be worth the asking price depending on how long these last. I anticipate that after a few re-freezings and stretching them to put around my neck that eventually these will crack, leak and be useless.Overall, these are simple to use and do work-as long as your expectations are realistic.

This ice pack is so refreshing when you first put it on straight from the freezer. It can really help cool you down, even though it's just a small area that touches your skin. Because of it's slender profile, it does warm up quickly from your body heat. Having several to swap out could be helpful. I do wish it had some sort of thin cover to help with the condensation, but other than that, its a great help in the heat!
