I was hesitant to buy at first and was going to get all of the additional pieces in the bundle. I decided to start with these as I thought they would ensure the longevity of the AirPods Max and let me use them at the gym, which I tend to frequent 5 days out of the week. Probably one of the most convenient, easy to use products I’ve ever purchased on Amazon. They fit, and line up exactly. The Material is easy on the skin and I’ve had no issues with sweat rubbing or making ears uncomfortable. The color doesn’t rub off, and you can easily clean them off after using and go back to the regular ear cups seamlessly. The sound Performance had no effect, music, videos, podcasts, all sound great. You can’t even really tell they are on. I have the plain black ones, and the appearance is very stealth like or even just default looking on the space grey pair. If I had to purchase again, I’d get them in a heartbeat. I’ve been using for a few weeks now and I’m very satisfied with the purchase. Skip the other products, THESE ARE THE ONES TO GET!!!

Omg even the headphone covers are SO soft and comfy 😍🤎 They fit perfectly, feel super cushioned, and make the headphones look extra cute and luxe. Definitely gives both comfort and aesthetic at the same time ✨🎧

They insulate the cushions from my sweat at the gym, which is wonderful. Before I bought these covers, the cushions would get disgusting. They are also easy to wipe clean at the end of a workout. They do not affect the sound quality at all. My only gripe is that they fall off the cushions easily. If you wipe them out, you have to be careful that they don't fall off - you could easily lose them in a busy place.

I love these. The AirPod ear muffs are literally made of fabric so when I go gym they would get soaked and I was super careful washing them. With these covers the sweat won’t be absorbed and it protects the longevity of the part.

Update June 2026: I’ve had these ear cushion covers for about 7 months now, and I’ve reduced my rating from 5 stars to 3 because of the issues I’ve come to realize with these covers. 1. They 100% make my ears sweat and it’s not just light, my ears get DRENCHED after 5 minutes of using these now. There is NO breathability. 2. There needs to be some sort of reinforcement around the sensor hole in these things. Because of the sensor hole, the covers warp EXACTLY in that area, and it causes me to CONSTANTLY have to readjust the covers, in order to keep them from blocking the sensor. 3. As others have mentioned, the pattern on the covers do bleed/run if you sweat or wash the covers, and I’m not sure if that’s safe if it comes into contact with your skin. 4. The covers also make the earcups less roomy, and they cause my ears to hurt because they’re too tight. So, my updated rating is 3 out of 5 stars now because of the listed issues. But the covers still do what they’re supposed to do, which is protect my actual earcup cushions. I’m currently on my third pair of ear cups for my AirPod Max headphones. The originals became worn, then I bought another pair here from Amazon that weren’t mesh like the originals, and they made my ears sweat soooo much. The sweat made the cushions fall apart. So, alas, here I am on my third pair. While browsing for a solid pair of replacement cushions, I came across there sweat protective covers. I’ve had them for a couple of weeks now, and with daily use, I can say that they work amazingly. My ears get a little hot, but I don’t sweat wearing em at all. They also protect the new mesh ear cups, (that I got with them, very well). They’re very easy to install and remove, and they’re comfortable. Sometimes they do feel a little tight around my ears because, since they’re over the original cup, they take up some of the space for your ears in the ear cup, and can be a tight fit for people with larger ears. But I’ll take the tightness over another pair of ruined ear cups. They also don’t alter or affect the sound quality at all (to me). My only gripe would be that sometimes they cause the sensors for “automatic head detection” to not register that you’ve put on/taken off the headphones, but that doesn’t happen too often. When it does happen, I just adjust the covers and I’m good to go again. All in all, I’m very satisfied with these earcup sweat covers. The price was great, and they WORK!! I’m so happy to not have to shell out for another set of earcups anytime soon!

Fits around the ear cup just fine. Feels like silicone against your head. Works exactly like you'd expect. If you are looking for something to protect the fabric of the original ear cups from discoloration, these covers accomplish that. But they absolutely do alter the sound profile. If someone says it doesn't affect the sound then perhaps they are simply not concerned with or able to hear the difference. The AirPods Max sound great already, and these silicone covers don't make them sound terrible, but they do alter the sound and IMO, worsen it. The sound stage is more narrow and a lot of brightness is lost. Bass doesn't sound reduced to me, and I didn't notice it becoming muddy in my limited testing. I think a lot of the sound difference is simply attributable to how much of the speakers are being covered by the silicone. When you put this much material over a speaker it disturbs the original sound profile. See photos. I think this product could be improved if it didn't cover so much of the speaker. Edit: You can take scissors to the silicone and cut out the material covering the speakers and leave only the material covering the donut shaped part of the ear cup. Doing this means the speakers are no longer covered and the sound profile is mostly restored. There is still some difference in the sound profile due to the donut part of the ear cup being covered but not enough for me to notice. And I personally greatly prefer the feeling of the original ear cup fabric over this silicone, but after spending $70 to replace the ear cups once, I'll sacrifice that comfort to save the money.

Brilliant…worth spending slightly more. Look great, fit great. I bought some cheaper ones, that looked naff and did not really fit ‘flush’. They crumpled and poor fit. No issues with these. Perfect fit and no issues at all with the sections of the Air maxes. The ones I purchased few months back will be consigned to the bin.

The do exactly what they say they do. Been wanting to use my AirPods Max in the gym for some time now and never found a solution that doesn’t ruin the pads. These work perfectly

Does exactly as advertised and the sounds remains unaffected. Very happy with this purchase

I had purchased Soulwit earpad covers and while they did a very good job at reducing condensation and protecting the ear cups, they still left the inner middle part of the earpads unprotected. These protect the outside and inner portion of the ear cup. I just went on an hour long walk and very hot and humid weather and I came back to see no condensation within the ear cups. The ANC is affected but to a lesser degree, maybe a 5-10% decrease in performance. These also change the soundstage of the headphones in a way that reduces the bass which for me is good as I prefer tight sounding headphones. The treble and mid range are largely unaffected. They do slightly increase the clamping force. For me, the silicone is more comfortable than the material of the ear cups, so even inside, I keep these protectors on. When installed correctly, there are holes in the silicone protectors that create an opening for the ear detection sensors in the ear cups. Be mindful to install them correctly because if installed incorrectly, the ear detection sensors will be blocked.
