Clean fresh flowing filtered water. There is a blue light in the pump but it is not visible from the outside. The water flows from the pump to the surface fountain and passes a filter before it is returned to the stainless steel container. The pump has a large object filter, but nothing large gets inside.I like this filter because it filters dust, debris , fur, before it can get into the container.I wish it had a window to show water levels.It was easy to set it and forget it until I realized there is no lie water indicators. I refill daily as a result and I purchased extra filters in advance with the fountain to be prepared for a filter change for any reason.Easy to clean. I rinse and wipe down with water and white vinegar when I do the filter change.Like that the filters needed are in stock.I bought this fountain to replace a prior pet fountain I bought in-store that had filters I could not find to order and replace. The filter dimensions and quadrant sizes were not found on Amazon. Maybe my prior pet fountain was discontinued when it was sold in the store.This fountain has been everything as described and worth the price.

I bought the water fountain a few months ago and so far it’s worked very well with our cats! They drink a lot more water and I feel the water is cleaner as well. It’s easy to put together, my cat’s have knocked it off the counter and it has yet to break. The pump works perfectly and it’s not too heavy when full so easily transportable. Also has the ‘max’ and ‘min’ markings which are very useful!!

Purchased last year September 2024. Worked great until recently when the pump stopped working. This was after cleaning and replacing filters as prescribed. It was 5 stars until now. I'm going to see if it's more cost effective to replace the pump or purchase a different brand. Have a family member who had the same problem.Review update: Received a response from customer service regarding the water pump no longer working. They suggested cleaning the magnet on the propeller. I removed the compartment with the slots on the side of the pump and pulled the propeller out with a needle nose pliers. After removing the slimy buildup on the magnet, the pump started to work. They do have an 18-month warranty and were willing to send a free replacement pump. So were back to a 5.

I personally love this cat water fountain. The metallic design is sleek and far superior to the cheap plastic options out there. While the fountain does make some noise, it's nothing bothersome—just a gentle, relaxing sound of running water, as you’d expect from a fountain. However, despite my appreciation for this product, my cat absolutely hates it. Since he’s the one who needs to use it—not me—it has unfortunately turned into a wasteful purchase. I’ve had it for a few months now, and he still insists on drinking water from the tub, rarely going near the fountain. I clean it every four days, hoping he’ll come around, but no luck yet. Please, kitty, start using it so I can feel like this purchase wasn’t in vain!

I’ve been using this fountain for my two cats exactly two weeks now and I’m so much happier with it than the three plastic ones we’ve tried. The difference is shocking. My cats have always responded better to a fountain than a bowl/dish, but they drink more water now than ever before. I strongly attribute this to how clean the water is kept in between manual cleanings.After the first week of usage I emptied and rinsed the reservoir before filling it up with filtered water. I just did the first filter change and deep clean - WOW. There hasn’t been ANY slime/mold build up any time I’ve refilled it, and the amount of hair floating around when I did the deep clean was minimal. It came with a little straw brush to get into the nooks and crannies so I felt good about it being clean. I haven’t been using the T shaped attachment, I don’t think the cats liked the flow speed/noise level with it on, so I can’t speak to the cleanliness of that, but the rest of it has been so easy to keep clean so far.Hopefully the pump lasts a while, but I greatly appreciate that you can buy a replacement one if needed.I like that the base is almost as wide as the top, one of my cats is a master at pulling the lids off of the fountains and knocking the basin over. He hasn’t been able to knock this over, even though he’s been trying!!The only thing about this that I would change is to add a thin plastic window, maybe on the short side, that lets you quickly see the water level without taking the lid off. That being said it does put off a low humming when the water is very close to the minimum so it’s easy to tell when more needs to be added. Highly recommend this fountain!!

We are very happy with the Rellaty Cat Fountain. Our two cats love having fresh running water available to them as needed. The quality of this product is extremely well made; easy to clean, quiet and functional.This purchase was a good choice for our fur-babies, we are very pleased.

I bought this fountain over two years ago — it has served us well being plugged in on our covered porch during the warmer months. I love it so much that I’ve just ordered a second one to set up indoors. Every other week I wash it out. Other than that I just dump a couple cups of water into it daily so it doesn’t run empty. Our cat loves it.
