What is the minimum and maximum seat adjustment from the floor to the top of the seat?

The maximum seat height is about 24 inches from the floor, but the seat cushion is pretty thick, so depending on how much weight is on the chair, the cushion and the gas piston might compress by two to four inches. The minimum seat height is about 18 inches from the floor. I've been using mine almost every day for a few months now, I'm happy with it.

Is this an 8 hour, 5 days a week chair?

It's a 24/7/365 chair, it's not made of LEGO, it doesn't "transform" into a rocket ship or anything else, it's just a chair all the time... But if you're asking if it's a sturdy, comfy chair to work in for eight hours a day, five days a week, at this price, I give it a resounding - YES... Not joking, I've had mine for about six months, and it's still bouncy, cushy, and pretty comfy... Of course comfy is a matter of opinion, but I shopped around, and this chair is the best one I found without spending 3,4,5 hundred bucks... I'm happy with it.. But to my chagrin, it doesn't transform into a rocket ship or anything else... Just a chair...

23 and a half inches, but both arms fold up out of the way, good chair for the price.
