The kegs are a bit higher quality than I expected. Good quality stainless and I like the pressure valve so that I won't be spraying beer when I go to put the tap valve on. I am going to sugar carbonate in the kegs and will add an update after I have emptied the first keg. So far - very good! Update Just finished my first keg of Porter and I am very happy with the results. With the valve on, it is a little bit tall for the fridge and I had to take a shelf out, but it is my extra frig and wasn't a big deal. Bottling in a few minutes with 5 bottles to deal with is a huge difference. Brewing just went from a rating of 5 hemroids to about 2.5. 😨. An electronic brew kettle would get it to around .5.

I like to take a gallon of water on weekend camping trips, but I'm always hesitant to use plastic. The bottle sits outside in the heat for days, and I worry about toxins seeping into the water. But most stainless steel bottles/growlers don't come in a gallon size. And those that do are usually over $100, and vacuum insulated, making them extra large and heavy. This bottle is exactly what I was hoping for. Compact and inexpensive, but safe and sturdy. It doesn't take up a lot of space, and I can throw it in the trunk of my car or take it to the mountains without worrying about punctures. And the shape/handle make it so easy to carry and pour from. I highly recommend this item. You'll never find a better option without spending double the money.

Well made. Needs to be cleaned well upon receipt, but this is a great 128 ounce keg for the money. The top screws in nicely and the built in pressure release is a real plus for easy cap release. My co2 charging system fits this keg perfectly. Same threads as mancan and most other manufacturers.

I got lucky and found this keg sold by Amazon warehouse.. Arrived in new condition. Over all very happy and the quality seems good. No complaints. Cons are the full price is rather steep. Second con is the spear top is also really expensive, but machining is not cheap.

Bought one and was so impressed I ordered a 2nd one. I brew a lot of beer and with my 24 year old moving out this makes for an easy way for me to keep him stocked for his friends with 1 gallon kegs and to reduce how much beer I have on hand.

I returned my first mini keg after the pressure failures and purchased one more to confirm if it was widespread. The second keg arrives in good condition, no pressure leaks, the weld points were good. I ended up buying another one and now I have 2 good mini kegs! Previous Review: "Great concept. I needed the volume to be mobile. Unfortunately, where the handle ring is welded to the containment, it leaks pressure quite visibly and audibly. I turned it on its side to fit in my refrigerator and it leaked beer all over. It cannot hold pressure so my beer went flat and wasted the small CO2 canister I attached to it. I will return my mini keg and order a new one to determine if this is consistent. They need to pressure-test these before they go out."

I love to home brew - the problem is that I don't like bringing 5 gallons around with me to small get togethers or BBQs because it's very inconvenient to disconnect everything and transport it and so on. So I got this 128oz mini-keg and have been very very pleased. I used a "Mini Keg Dispenser with Regulator by The Weekend Brewer" and now I can bring a pressurized gallon of great home-brewed IPA or Cream Ale to my friend's house with great results. When combined with the tap above, you get to pour fresh pints and the carbonation is maintained to perfection. The material construction was excellent with no scratches or dings. It is not insulated so if you want to keep it cold leave it in a cooler or a fridge unless you plan to consume it fairly quickly. Cheers!

I like the classic growler but find the 64 ounce bottles you get at breweries aren't large enough to share my homebrew with friends. This growler is perfect. I can take the equivalent of 8 pints or 10 cans to a party, camping, office get together, whatever! The cap on the top is really nice as it has a pressure relief valve on it.
