I've owned a similar model before, but this display stands out with its vivid colors and impressively bright LEDs, which effectively capture attention. However, the initial setup does come with a learning curve. The process involves connecting to a Wi-Fi hotspot specific to the device and navigating software that's not the most user-friendly. The software interface can be challenging, particularly because some parts are in Chinese without English translations, which complicates using certain features. For instance, configuring the temperature and weather settings is difficult as the relevant instructions are entirely in Chinese, making those features inaccessible to non-Chinese speakers. Despite these challenges, the display's impact is undeniable. I've installed two of these outside our store, each facing a different direction, and they've significantly boosted foot traffic. The ability to display sale information and promotional messaging draws in passersby, thanks to the natural attraction of scrolling text. In conclusion, while the LED Matrix Display is a bit tricky to set up, its effectiveness in attracting attention and enhancing visibility is worth the effort. We hung our LED sgin display in our garage where we have bar and game room. This is where our family hangs out together so I thought this sign would be fun to advertise the drink of the day and daily affirmations or quotes. The display has an array of functions for customization, the colors are bright and vivid so seeing the lettering from afar is easy on the eyes. The display size if perfect for our use. the LED technology keeps the energy costs down so letting it run for extended periods of time is safe and cost-effective. Included are the mounting brackets for wall placement. We chose to suspend it from the ceiling and had to purchase additional hardware to support that placement. There are various ways to use it, with another option of placing it on a stand if a permanent location is not desired. Programming took some time to download the software from the website., connect to Wi-Fi, create the message and learn how to customize the display content. This process may be challenging for non tech savvy people like myself, but with time and practice, I have been improving my programming skills and I refer to the manual often to keep me straight. It's really constructed with durable material and functions flawlessly. Excellent purchase.

I haven't yet mounted this sign but I built myself a pull-behind camper and thought this might be a really cool thing to have over my camper door. I mean, there are times I meet some very nice, neighborly types when I park at some campground or another. I wanted to put my camper name on this and then make have a scrolling message for a shared BBQ dinner. This really was easy to use and definitely fits above my camper door so I can "advertise" a sort of pot luck dinner with friends at the campgound. I do have a son with a food truck and may end up giving it to him for his lunch time crowd and with this sign advertise his daily special. Good for lots of different scenarios!

These programmable signs are so useful. They're so bright and the ability to put whatever I want on the sign is fantastic. To do so you need to use the industry standard, free software but it's not great software, it's pretty clunky and the buttons aren't very well translated so it's hard to grasp the meaning of what pressing those buttons means. If you can get over that initial hurtle of the clunky software it's a really good, useful sign. I can put new messages, like birthday greetings, on the sign in minutes using the sign's own wi-fi network so it the sign never needs to connect to your wi-fi, that's a great security feature but does mean you'll need to be within range of the sign, not just your wi-fi network. I could not be happier with this sign, it's a lot of fun and people really love seeing their name up in lights on this sign.

The instructions are horrible, the app is very glitchy, never stays on what you set and constantly resets back to a default setting on the sign. do not reccoment.

Sign looks great but the co fusing instructions and sign un able to connect through wifi I returned it. Such a let down.

I received this item as a part of my membership with Amazon Vine. I ordered the sign for my storefront to give myself a little more 'advertising' of the shop. Its a great sign with a good size and it is bright and very visible. Its LED so you can choose pretty much whatever color you want and there are a bunch or pre-programmed color schemes and patterns you can use if you want to. My issue with this sign, and the reason for only 3 stars is that the only way to control the sign are ways that feel like you are being set up to be actively spied on. The app is only downloadable by going to a website that is entirely written in chinese and without google lens to translate id not be able to set up anything. On top of that, there are the terms of usage that you have to agree to that are again only available in chinese. The other option for connecting to the sign was an included serial cable along with a USB with god knows what on it. Perhaps i am paranoid, but i know that USB sticks are a very popular method for spreading malware or spyware, so i am highly suspicious. I was able to get the sign set up using an old tablet that i had with no personally identifying info and that i will wipe and reset once programming is done. The programming is not very intuitive, and you need to read the badly translated instructions carefully to get it working correctly. In summations, LED sign is good, but the methods for connecting and programming are paranoia inducing. I recommend only if you have no other options.
