My only slight criticism is the hole is (as stated) 1 and 1/4" , so larger than 1" and I needed to pack my (Argos) barbell bar out with tape, but still better than the hole being too small.These are genuine 100% cast iron and not the rubbish cheap and nasty vinyl ones, often filled with cement!These were £25 cheaper than similar cast iron weight from Argos and a bargain.Now I've saved 5no 5kg weights I have plenty of options for increasing the barbell or adding to my dumbels.

These are good quality 30mm plates. Smooth castings, painted in matt black, rounded edges. They will be too loose for comfort for a standard 1 inch bar unless you install a shim of some sort. Its possible - find a flexible strip of plastic of about 2mm thick, cut it to size and fit it into the hole with a flexible adhesive like silicone. Otherwise they will be too loose.They fit perfectly on the 30mm bars you get from Gorilla or Adidas. The price is pretty reasonable, delivery was immediate, packaging adequate. Recommended.

Great plates prestin bought the 1inch perfect will buy again

The Product specifies a hole diameter of 1.25 inches.This is incorrect. In fact the box it arrives in specifies 26.5mm and that equates to 1.04 inches. that is enough to be a problem for many curling bars. Then sending it back is a pain, you have to pay for the postage 20KG and hope for the best.Very disappointed and an unnecessary inconvenience. Its hardly rocket science!

The item description is difficult but not badI received 2 10kg plates.These plates have a larger ID. Specifically they fit the larger threaded bar ends ~ 1.15 inch (OD of outside thread)So on a 1 inch bar they will be loseBut they are perfect for the slightly larger OD of the threaded bar end.

Okay, I've ordered this, but now the picture of it is different. When order it was 8 pieces. 4 smaller and 4 bigger. I received only 4 smaller.They said that in the description says only 4.I didn't see such description. Just the next cheap trick of the seller. I hope you get rich.
