I returned this camera after it repeatedly dropped the wifi connection no matter what I did. Worse yet, the only link to this camera is via an android phone app which can be found at the Play Store by searching for "doby", whatever that means. I did see live video on my phone, which looked fine, but I could not play any previously stored video, always getting the error message "no video history". An 8gb microSD came with the camera, but every time I took it from the camera to my desktop to view stored files Windows insisted the card needed to be formatted. Then when I put the card back in the camera, the camera insisted that the card had to be "initialized". Either way it was impossible to see anything stored on the SD card except via the phone app, and that didn't work.

Had it set up a running in minutes on my phone. It is best if you have great eye sight for the instructions and as usual, there are words that need to be interpreted. Other than that, the image on my phone is great for the price. It would be nice if there was a security screw when mounted. It can just be removed from the magnet with ease. It would also be great if it had removable batteries. I am looking forward to the learning curve period. For the price, I like what I see so far.

This camera is good for what I needed for. I have it facing outside into my yard to keep an eye when my dogs are outside and to alert if anyone comes on to the property. It has great sensitivity for motion sense and is nice for the night vision. I haven't had an issue with it connecting to the internet or my phone, even when I am away from the house. For how often it is used, I get a good month of battery out of it before charging. I'd highly recommend this for small security or a backup.

junk don't buy look elsewhere!!!!

I tried everything and could not get this freecam to stay connected. However we have several cell phones & two smart TVs that have no problem at 10-40 feet away from the router. Unfortunately, I will be returning this device.

Works as expected. Got it for the price and only needed it for my patio
