Nice as described

What I like:- Clear mapping. Never took a wrong turn in the 3 days that I used it.- bright, high res display.What I dislike:- randomly reboots several times a day.- today it randomly shut down and didn't reboot when I was driving in heavy traffic.- screen attracts fingerprints.- volume could do with going higher, struggle to hear it over my music. Google maps on my phone is louder.- not compatible with the TomTom My Drive app.- can create a route on the device, but can't save it.- syncs with mydrive.tomtom.com, but you can't edit a route on the device itself (so can't add or delete stops).- had difficulty re-ordering stops. If I had say 6 stops it would sometimes only show me 5 of them on the map, so I re-order the 5 but then it doesn't show me the 6th stop, and it won't allow me to continue.- if I have input multiple stops and just want to reorder one or two, I can't, you have to re-order them all.- It has the option to show turn by turn directions for your whole route, but won't show a simple list showing each of your stops on a route.- Shows the time to your next stop or destination (this is configurable), but doesn't show the current time.- I enabled speed camera alerts, but not once did it alert me to a speed camera.I'm returning this unit for a refund and going back to the free Road Lords app available on Android. That app is far from perfect, but it's miles ahead of TomTom.

When everything is connected and you have it turned on from being off and not in sleep mode , this is a fantastic nav system,The problem I’m finding is1 it disconnects from the app quite often2 when you wake it up from sleep mode , for some reason the blue box with the next turn information disappears and you need to shut the nav down and restart it to get it back ,3 at 100% volume it’s still not that loud4 and this goes for all truck sat nav’s (and for the price of them I can’t understand why) it does not allow you to put abnormal load dimensions in , and then route you accordingly.ie convoy exceptional routes through Europe,PositivesTraffic is spot on almost down to the meterScreen is bright and clearLane guidance when you get used to it is greatWiFi updates brilliant ideaWeight limit symbols on the live mapOver all it’s a really good nav and when the sim version coms out so you don’t need to link it to your phone and use your data up it will be even better

Reasonably logical operation and really easy to use, keep updated ect. Good improvements on older models.

The new version of tomtom premium pack is not the professional version I’ve expected, there is not slot for a memory card and after few updates there is not enough memory for features updates.As well is not live traffic like the version 6250 pro you need to connect the device to a hotspot.After 2 year you need to pay for the speed camera upgrades. (6250 pro is life time upgrade for free)Good point, nice graphics, and nice screen features.

Size of vehicle in correctly, still attempts to go where it shouldn't, luckily my eyes work and I often ignore it's advice tbh.It's for 15mt coach, I tell machine it's a "bus" but doesn't recognise bus lanes 😩Still handy kit though, lots of good features, did I get the best?Not sure.Update,, not sure this was a good buy at all,,, won't now hold a route without frequent rebooting,, it's getting less useful tbh doesn't matter what size vehicle I put in consistently says route unsuitable for size of vehicle (it wasn't)Want to try and chat with tom Tom?You chat with a bot,,, and if you want it looked at / repaired, it needs DPD, ing to Romania and can take forever, ( mount previously fell apart, and went through above procedures.Look elsewhere,,,
