Arrived flat packed and the seats and top were already assembled. Unpacked it and gave it all a coat of decking oil before putting it together. All the screws are the same length (5mm hex wrench supplied) so no mix ups and all the parts fitted together quite well. Assembly is done upside down, is very straightforward but really needs two people when it comes to fixing the seats. You could prop one end whilst you do the other if you are on your own but if you are not particularly strong, you will struggle to turn the bench the right way up. In total, it took about 15 minutes to put together. Top tip though. Don't tighten the seat or leg screws fully until it is the right way up. Get someone to sit on each end of each bench to set them in position, then tighten the screws. When fully assembled this is a very sturdy picnic table and if someone bumps into it, you won't spill your beer. Umbrella hole a nice addition also. My only criticism, and I'm being picky here, there are a few screws where you cannot fully turn the wrench due to clearance so you have to keep taking it out and putting it back in. Also, the two underside braces have recessed screws which are actually too deep to do up with the supplied wrench. I used an impact driver with an extension and a hex bit for the whole thing. If you don't have access to such a tool, it might take you a bit longer to assemble.

I just had to take time to post this review. I am truly impressed with this picnic bench. First of all packaging is first class, item secure and protected. I did pay for delivery in two working days but received it next day. My husband is away, I am impatient and independent so had no hesitation is getting on with assembling it myself. I am small and by no means strong but it is very easy to do. Everything you need is supplied, every part fits together perfectly. The bolts are good quality. Each piece is well finished and all edges chamfered. All pieces are straight and square. There are no chips, scratches or splits. The bench is solid and sturdy and looks built to last and, although it is pressure treated, I also immediately oiled it to give some extra protection. I did a lot or research and visited a few garden centres to see what was on offer but everything is so expensive for what it is and anything of decent quality out of our price range by the time the garden centres have added their mark-up. I would recommend this bench without hesitation.

Now, the product itself is really good, it's been sitting in my back garden for a while and has been so lovely to have dinner outside during the summer months. It was fairly easy to put together, although the allen key wasn't long enough to reach some of the holes, I still managed it. It sits a 4 adults easily, and probably more children. There is a hole for an umbrella to be added. It dry's quite quickly after raining and looks to be treated to deal with this, as is written in the description. Now, while I've given this product a fully justified 5 stars, there is one issue. They REALLY need to stop using XDP for delivery. XDP missed their appointment to deliver, and lied by faking a "you were out" card. The XDP app gives false information too about your delivery. It did finally arrive the next day and I had to help the driver carry it off the van, as he was on his own with so many HUGE parcels .. crazy ! .. I'm glad it arrived .. I love the product, but if the manufacturer is reading this, change the carrier ! you're not deserving of such poor customer service.

This is a very sturdy table that is treated wood. Assembly is simple with an Allen Key and bolts. It has very smooth corners and is super solid, seating 4 to 5 people. One of the bolts did not bite the receiver so this may have been a manufacturer fault. I had to use screws instead.

lovely picnic table, nice size for a Children’s play area

In 18 years of living in my own home this is by far the best piece of garden furniture I have ever purchased/ been gifted with. Very good quality, pre drilled and threaded holes come as standard which make life very easy with assembly. Above all, the wood is beautiful and built to last. It is very heavy but that just goes even further in it’s demonstration of future durability. Well impressed and if it’s in stock and your considering it then don’t consider for too long!

Absolutely fantastic, great quality, really solid and easy to assemble. I was expecting a box of parts but the seats and table part are already made so I just needed to put the legs and seats on. Honestly, we couldn’t be more chuffed with it.

A great picnic table, very solid and looks lovely. I would say sits four comfortably. It came super fast and it was easy assembly by one. Great price too, totally recommend it!
