This certainly is edible and isn't poison, however beyond the fact that it probably wont get you sick, the taste is absolutely terrible. It tastes like dirt. I know what Salicornia should taste like as I have been ordering from greensalt.com, but they have run out of stock so I chose another product, and this isn't it. Returns aren't allowed with this product either so don't get stuck with this... move on if your considering purchasing this.
