Brilliant repair for a plastic shower tray
Brilliant repair for a plastic shower tray. If it is mixed for two minutes the colour is a genuine snow white.Use 1/2 to 2/3rds to fix the crack. Apply with Lolly sticks, be careful not to get in on your clothes or carpets.Spread it carefully over the crack and it will seep in. Smooth it down in the first 30 minutes. Leave it for 2-3 hours and while still tacky apply a second coat and smooth it to a good finish. It was virtually invisible when fully set. Leave it to set for about 15- 16 hours or more if the air is cold. It flexes with the shower tray which is what is needed. I was impressed it saved me the cost of any anything up to the price of a new Big Bear shower cubicle and tray.

Far too runny for repairs on a slope
Tried to repair a small hole in the sloping side of a bath. The mixed resin is far too liquid to remain in place in a location like this and gravity causes it to flow easily. Unless a repair site is near horizontal then this product does not work. Now that I’ve opened and used the kit I don’t think I can return it.

As good as new
We've used this both on a sink and bath where heavy objects were dropped when making other repairs... And this has concealed the imperfections... Only if you look really close, or know there was anything wrong to begin with, would you know...

Concealing bathroom imperfections
Relative to pestering cracks and dents in sinks and tubs, this repair tub kit manages to plaster over marks to a useable standard. The finishing, however, can be a little more tricky. The kit packs all necessary tools to immediately get down to the job of repairing crack or dents in bathtubs and sinks. I appreciate the way the instructions and application process is kept entirely straightforward. Using the provided plastic tab, add a dab of solution one and a dab of solution two - mix together to form a white creamy paste. Then just apply evenly and smoothly across the damaged area. A word of warning, make sure to protect the surrounding area with some newspaper or bad cloth as the creamy consistency can get messy very quickly if it's not handed carefully or in small amounts. I applied the solution to a small but nagging dent in my bathroom sink. The application took me just a few minute. Once applied, the solution must be left to dry for 18-72 hours.I returned to find a firm yet smooth new surface above the cracked spot. The solution dries like a wall filler but forms a stronger, more resilient texture which avoids being washed away. As shown, the initial result looks patchy although compared to the bare chip, a lot better! The kit provides a courser grit sand paper and a smoother 2000grit sand paper. Using the two, I was able to even out the spot to get as close of finish. This finishing process takes more attention to detail than the application. Sanding too much can be sand away too much of the new surface as I soon found. Yet sanding too little, leaves a patchy finish. I used each in combination to find a balance where the dent is less (not entirely gone) visible than before. Impressively, the new sanding area feels as smooth and tough to touch as the rest of the sink surface. Even running water across it, reacts like the original sink, not washing away nor 'catching' water.

Amazing!
After only just installing our new shower, the edge of the shower tray got damaged when a heavy tool was dropped on it. Was a real big shame as it was brand new. This came to the rescue! I didn’t do the repairing myself but the results are miles better than the dent that was there previously. If you look closely, you’ll be able to tell something was done but if you aren’t looking for it directly, it blends into everything else. The feel of it is identical to the rest and the texture doesn’t react differently to water than the rest of the tray. All in all, a great alternative to replacing the entire tray, or whatever you use this on.Would recommend!

Quality and performance
This product doesn’t work for me. I tried 3 time on my shower tray crack. Water passing through causing a leaking. No adherence when hot water is running. I don’t find it appropriate.
