Crimson Clover Seed

The clover seed spreading is easy and fast. Nice fill in for bare spots and light shade. Pollinators love the beautiful flowers. Mixing the clover into your regular lawn improves the soil and is generally a good alternative to chemicals for presenting a green natural lawn, even when it’s dry.

Uhm, I'd say they did great. 🤣 Seeds were very easy to get started, sprouted in a couple of days. You can see the gorgeous blooms! They have worked well as a groubd cover and are easy to pull up for planting other plants. Theyre doing the job! I'll be purchasing more for a hill that is hard to mow. Just gorgeous and covered with bees!

Super easy and quick to grow. I threw down the seeds and watered them a couple Of times a day. They are so pretty. You can see where I missed spots when I threw them down. But they are slowly filling in

This review is for Zone 5 at >9,500 feet in Colorado. This variety of clover needs temperatures over 60* to germinate. Because nighttime temperatures where I live don’t get close to that temperature until July, I initially thought this variety was going to fail. But after July, the seeds started to germinate, and by late August I saw the first blooms. By mid-September I had lovely crimson blossoms everywhere—they filled in where the earlier-blooming wildflowers had started to die off. The elk, deer, and rabbits love it, so larger patches I planted never bloomed because the animals kept it cropped. But areas where the seeds were sparsely intermixed with wildflowers, the crimson clover has flourished, and the hummingbirds love them. I docked one star because I contacted the company after re-seeding in the spring with no plants coming up, and they never responded to my inquiry. The product gets 5 stars, the company gets 2.

Bought and used for my backyard “orchard” to help cover spots and choke out some grasses and weeds. High germination rate (I scattered around a few days before rain, the rain did the rest). 👍🏽

The first bag of this resulted in pure joy. The clovers took so beautifully and are so miniature it just makes my heart full. So…I bought another! The second bag was not like the other. It was a total bust. Cared for the same way…. Major upset. I was so thrilled with consistent expectations and it was super disappointing . 🫠

This clover is amazing! The seeds truly do come with a coating so it is like little round pellets . Within 3 days you could see the clover by day 7 I had a clover patch. So very pleased with this product.!

great germination

I had no issue with other seeds being mixed in. The clover seeds are fresh and quickly sprouted. Very happy with purchase.

I sprinkled them on my lawn, and was told some of my neighbors were stealing the dead heads to plant their own.

Large print makes you believe it’s just clover seed but, it’s mixed hay and clover . Other wise the clover grew great. Sadly also with other things when I just wanted clover .

Certainly not micro. Great profuse clover. Understood to be annual. Not perennial.

I have only used a small amount of the seed due to weather. The seed that I did spread seems to be almost 100% germinated and growing. I will update next spring when I get a chance to use more. Seed was shipped in heavy plastic and was intact and dry.
