We have a D1Spa hot tub, and are typically needing to replace the cover every 3 to 4 years. With our most recent cover replacement, I've decided to try using a cover to protect the cover. This fits well and is easy to install and remove. We do occasionally get 4 to 5 feet of snow piled up, and so far this cover is holding up to the weather and provides an extra layer of protect against the elements. I will need to do a followup review after several years to report on how sturdy this product it, but so far, its doing great and seems well worth the investment to protect the more expensive cover.

Perfect hard shell hot tub cover! Fit over my hot tub and cover perfectly. I had to get a new hardtop because my last one became waterlogged and I wanted to protect it and this is exactly what I needed! I live in the south where we experience heavy rains humidity and dry rot and this will keep my hard shell lasting much longer! Worth the buy.

I purchased this instead of buying a new $500 cover for our hot tub. What could I possibly been thinking??? Saving $450!? The cover is well made and passes my expectations (hard to do for picky me)! You can make tightness adjustments and it stays on, on windy days. Mind you I am not talking about a hurricane- just give it time for that test- we live in hurricaine's favorite state- Florida! The cover functions just the way I wanted it to in that it keeps rain water from filling the spa through the regular cover. It fits nice and tight. I would give it a 5 but I didn't take into account the exterior lift brackets. The cover fits tightly but I couldn't get all four zippers to zip up completely. Next time I'll buy a size up.

I followed another reviewer's advice and upped the size (7' to 7'4") and was glad that I did. My cover has mechanical, piston-type external hinges. This made it fit great. Even if this were not the case, the straps cinch this down snuggly. So, up your spa's dimensions and go up a step. Rip-stop type material. For the money this seems like a reasonable way to add life to the spa cover itself. Just purchased but I am pleased and would buy again.

Our original Sundance spa cover started to retain rain water and fall apart inside. As the lining deteriorated - it dumped thousands of little pieces of blue plastic from the inside liner into the hot tub water ...what a mess! We had to drain the tub, clean it and the filter out and start over with new water. We plan to replace the cover with the appropriate hard cover before the winter rain here in California (which costs hundreds of dollars), yet wanted something in the interim and this iBirdie Outdoor Waterproof and Weatherproof Hot Tub Cover fit the bill...perfectly! We purchased a few others which didn't stay on, and didn't keep the spa water hot. And this one did! Fit wise, our spa measured as an 84 X 84 inch square, and we went according to the seller's sizing and bought the 85 X 85 inch cover in black. The only problem we ran into is, it bunches up around the hot tub cover lift arms at the back or the tub - which if removed I think the cover would fit perfectly. I love the quality of the material (heavy nylon like), zippers at the corners, and adjustable buckles to tighten the fit to prevent it flying up and or off in the wind. Overall, this is a great hot tub replacement cover - especially for the price! We would have to see how it does once it starts raining here in Northern California, since the weight of the water on top may be an issue, yet for right now - it's an absolute life saver!

The cover fit my hot tub and looks good. It was easy to “install”.

Purchased this to put over our hard cover. It fit great and latched down well. It was on the hot tub 4 days before the straps came unattached from the side so now it won’t stay on. We haven’t even had any real wind yet. Not sure its super durable.
