Hair Care Natural Moisturizing Factors + Hyaluronic Acid, Lightweight Hydrating Scalp Serum with Hyaluronic Acid and Squalane, 2 Fl Oz

Scalp type: dry/very dry, prone to flaking and psoriasis patches. (Its not fungus caused dandruff) I use this about three times a week on dry hair/scalp after washing. Pros: it reduces itching from dryness, it does reduce flaking significantly after the first few uses, it doesn't really have a smell, its easy to apply, and so far theres no irritation so it seems good for sensitive skin. Cons: it does make your hair a little greasy. In all honestly though, it works so well on relieving my issues that my hair looking a little greasy doesn't bother me at this point. Ive tried so many shampoos and medicated treatments to fix my problems and this seems to do the job. Im not flaking like a Parmesan shaker anymore and it’s no longer itchy! So yea.

Really great product! Can’t speak to hair regrowth as some of the other reviews. But I have recently been paying more attention to my scalp and time I add this to my scalp I feel instant moisture effect. It is greasy! So I’ve been doing it on days I don’t plan on doing my hair. Or days I’m home working. So about 3-4 times a week.

I started using The Ordinary Natural Moisturizing Factors + Hyaluronic Acid Scalp Serum because my scalp gets dry/tight (especially in winter or when I use clarifying shampoo). After a few weeks, I’d say it’s a genuinely helpful product if your main goal is scalp comfort and hydration, not dramatic hair growth. Texture / feel: It’s very lightweight more like a watery gel-serum than an oil. It spreads easily across the scalp and doesn’t make my roots look greasy as long as I don’t overdo it. I can use it on dry hair or right after a shower, and it absorbs pretty fast. Results: The biggest difference for me was less itchiness and less flaky dryness around my hairline and part. My scalp feels calmer, and I’m not constantly wanting to scratch my head on day 2–3 after washing. It also plays well with other hair products (no weird residue or buildup so far). How I use it: I part my hair in a few sections, apply a few drops, then massage it in for ~30 seconds. I use it 3–5 times a week, usually at night or after showering. Scent / irritation: No strong fragrance (big plus). I didn’t get stinging or redness, but if your scalp is super sensitive, I’d still start slow. What I like • Actually helps dry, tight, itchy scalp • Lightweight and not oily • No heavy scent • Easy to apply and doesn’t weigh hair down What to know • If you expect “thicker hair” or major growth, this isn’t really that kind of product • You can accidentally make roots look a bit flat if you apply too much • Works best as a consistent routine product, not a one-time fix. Overall: For scalp hydration, this is a solid 4/5. It’s simple, effective, and easy to use but it’s not transformational, and you still need good wash/conditioning habits to fully fix dryness.

This is a great product for dry scalp! I can literally feel the product soak into my scalp and doesn't make it feel greasy at all! It's like a little water bottle for my scalp. I don't use it every day but for sure once a week and I have used it on damp hair and dirty hair and it works great!

Absolutely phenomenal saves my hair from falling down I lost so much hair and this stop the itching and hair loss in 1 application I still can’t believe it after months of struggles and cry I didn’t believed the instagram hope but this time it’s true it works

The greasiest product I’ve used for my hair in recent memory (and I I’ve tried a lot). I couldn’t possibly use this on my scalp (I’d be able to cook an egg on it!!) Just using a small amount on the mid to ends of my hair left it so greasy I didn’t want to leave the house. I mean… it technically does its job as a hydrator but I personally couldn’t use this, regardless of if I used it on dry or wet hair. I tossed it after trying it more than a few times and got the same result no matter the amount. I normally really like Ordinary products but this was the first one for hair I’ve purchased.

This leaves my hair greasy. That’s the reason for 3 stars. It DOES moisturize my scalp but the issue is it leaves my hair feeling gross and greasy which is bizarre because the product is milky, not oily. It’s almost like my roots stay “wet” but doesn’t feel oily to the touch.

I just bought this since I switched up my hair routine. I use head and shoulders bare in the shower, and when I get out of the shower, I use the ordinary scalp moisturizing serum on my scalp and a leave-in on the middle length and ends. This little bottle has helped reduce smell, yeast and bacteria so much. My hair has changed for the better. My hair feels less greasy, lighter, and more manageable. I highly recommend this little bottle, worth the price. Here, take my money. I have a big head and a lot of hair, so I use a couple half droppers to get all my scalp.

Lo he usado una vez. Es cierto que te deja el pelo con grasa pero es que el producto no es para ponértelo e irte a la calle. Te lo aplicas por la noche, por la mañana te lo lavas y queda super brilloso.

I have thick curly hair so finding something easy to apply directly to the scalp is a game changer. This is by far the best product I have used, application wise I can feel it going on my scalp and not being absorbed by the hair instead. It is nice and light product not oily feels amazing and refreshing on the scalp. This is now a staple in my hair care routine.
