Great heft to it and the quality seems good so far
Bought this for a DIY project and have to say, this is definitely a great surprise, good construction material, quality. so far worked well but haven't had a chance to test it properly to see if it will last durably.would definelty recommend to those who want a good quality item. good options available too, Will perhaps post after testing durability.

Heavy Duty
The weight and general quality of this manual impact driver is excellent. Very confidence inspiring. The presentation is really nice as well. Comes in a nice metal storage box and packs away neatly.

Sturdy Impact Driver With Storage Case
I occasionally encounter bolts or screws which have become corroded or are very difficult to turn without causing damage to them. An impact driver can be a very useful tool, as while it is being struck with a hammer or suitable mallet the bit or socket attachment is driven onto the screw head or bolt while the mechanism inside the driver applies rotational force. This Awang Impact Screwdriver is supplied as a set with a selection of bits and bit holder which attaches to the 1/2 inch drive. Standard 1/2 inch drive sockets will also fit directly onto the drive as required. Two spiral screw extractors are also included for removing screws where the heads have been partially stripped.Unfortunately the case for the driver set I received was faulty on arrival with one of the rivets which secures the lid catch to the case falling off the first time I opened it. This was due to one of the securing rivets not having a hole to receive it in the side of the case. Fortunately I have a rivet gun so drilled the hole where it needed to be and fitted a pop rivet to correct the issue. The driver has a good weight to it and feels very sturdy in the hand. It has some knurling along its length which provides some grip while in use and it can easily be set to drive in either direction. I had a couple of rusted bolts on a bicycle I am renovating and managed to free them using this driver. In summary this is in my opinion a well made, sturdy impact driver set which works as described. I would have given it five stars for this review were it not for the fault with the catch on the case which I have rectified.

It's a cracker, literally.
A very well made and sturdy tool to add to your garage, and very reasonably priced, perhaps could do with one or two smaller heads but works realy well.

Super strong.
Used for an outside diy project involving lots of old rusty screws that needed removing.Takes a bit of getting used to if you have never used an impact driver before, but wacking it with a mallet is great fun and a really good way to relieve your stress! Its very strong and sturdy, also heavy, lots of different heads for different uses and comes in a good quality metal tin for storage. The video on the product page is really useful for explaining how to change the direction of the bit,This is a great piece of kit for both Diy and professional work, and really worth the purchase price.

Good quality and sturdy driver.
Nice and compact driver, it's similar in size, weight, and design to my very abused 30+ year old one, so a fairly well proven I guess.Finish quality is very nice. It's mild steel with what seems to be a hard satin chrome or anodised plating on it (similar to the sort you see on sockets and spanners). The grip section has good knurling, but the only thing I would really note as a slight negative when compared to my old driver is that the base collar is flush. Having used these a lot I find my hand is prone to slide down the tool as I'm battering it with a hammer, and the protruding collar on my old tool offered a bit of an extra grip point, not a big deal though.Overall the tool is very nicely made, and comes in a decent folded metal case. It feels like it will last just as long as the old one, so I'm very happy with it.

Handy if you need to remove a seized or stripped screw
This item was supplied to me free of charge through Amazon’s Vine programme, however this in no way influences my review, which is intended to be both impartial and informative for potential purchasers.Manufacturers seem to be using much softer material for their screws these days so it's very common to strip the head of the screw even when using the correct screwdriver bit. When that happens, or if you simply have a screw that has been in place for so long that it has seized up, then an impact screwdriver such as this can be very helpful. Yes, you could use a powered impact driver if you have one, but the benefit of this type of driver is that the turning force is provided by striking the driver, meaning that the bit is given much more traction on the screw head. The driver is presented in a solid steel case, including 10 drill bits, two of which are screw removers. One slightly frustrating point for anyone who is unfamiliar with using this type of driver is that no instructions are included, so until you know that the direction of the driver is changed by pushing in the head of the driver and twisting it clockwise or counter clockwise you're going to be a bit stuck. Incidentally, the spring in the driver is, by necessity, very strong, so pushing in and turning the driver head at the same time is much easier said than done! The driver body is very solidly made and appears to be very durable. It has heavy knurling, making it easy to grip, and has a large striking area so that you should have less chance of your hammer/mallet slipping off and hitting your hand. There are a good selection of screwdriver bits included, so you should be able to find the right one for your particular task. The two screw removal tools are very useful when your screw head has stripped as you simply hammer the remover into the offending screw, and the reverse threading gradually untwists the screw from its hole (it's important to remember that you need the driver set to an anti-clockwise direction when using screw removers). At this stage I'm unsure how durable the screwdriver bits will be, but they are a standard hex fitting so replacing them won't be an issue.A good addition to your toolkit.
