going on week 3 and they haven’t fallen apart yet. I’ve done my best to keep them out of harms way but time will tell. better insole than I expected but i swapped mine out immediately for form insoles. hope that weird toe thing doesn’t happen but meh whatever! coolest looking work shoe I’ve owned though

These shoes are just as good as the rest of the shoes from ShoesForCrews, but when I got them, they were a bit on the tight side, which I believe is because of the extra padding they have as opposed to the Merlins. I would recommend getting a half-size bigger than what you normally wear. I did this and then they were perfect.

My husband and I have both worked in bars/restaurants for 25 +/- years and these are the BEST non slips we’ve tried, hands down. I’m FOH, he’s BOH.I’d say style wise I personally prefer the high top over the lows for the little bit of extra ankle support.Fits true to size.We usually have to trade out the insoles at least once between purchases of existing and new pairs as the insoles get worn down/need arch support refresh/etc., but that’s minor and to be expected when you’re on your feet as much as we are.

I bought these as a gift for my son who is a sous chef. He is on his feet in slippery conditions for long hours. These are the first of this brand he has had, and is thrilled with the non-slip, comfort and ventilation. Just the right amount of water proofing plus breathability. I don't think he'll consider any other shoes going forward.

These shoes are comfy and very slip resistant. However, the tread is a deep and it gets alot of food bits trapped inside. It's not the easiest to clean out either short of spraying it with a hose. Anyway, the way I found out about the food in the tread was because of the smell. After a week my shoes smelled like a dumpster and now I keep them outside

okay so I have mixed feelings about the shoes probably because I should have ordered a half size up but I thought they would stretch out a bit, not the case. I do love the look of them and that they are definitely for feet that are narrow like mine, almost too narrow because I had to cut the elastic parts on the tongue. After that I found them to be very comfortable to wear all day in the kitchen, 10 hour shifts for 14 days straight. Only my pinky toes were uncomfortable when I put them on at the beginning of my shift, ordered a 9.5 but should have gone with the 10's cause the toe cap is a little snug. As for water resistant I would say that the are only resistant to the soul line, I sprayed them clean near the end of my shift and my feet were soaked. I'll definitely buy another pair in a bigger size next time

These are amazing kitchen shoes- my son has used them all summer and they look as new, grip well and are stylish too

Don’t get me wrong these shoes are comfortable .However I’m not sure they are made to last. I’ve worn these shoes for exactly 2 weeks , approximately 80 hours of kitchen work and the glue is already starting to come off the left toe of the shoe .Not impressed considering the high price of these I would expect far better craftsmanship:(
