Pretty good
I liked the idea of an "easy fit" but didn't feel this was any easier than a normal style. There is a lot of engineering in all the parts, which fitted together well, but you still have to get under the sink for some connections. Overall, it feels and looks well made. Modern ceramic taps just don't seem to last as long as the old ones with a replaceable rubber washer.

Good quality
Fast delivery, tap as described with fittings. Installed by my local plumber and took about fourty minutes. He remarked that Bristan is a trusted make and should give years of service. The tap does drip for a couple of drips when turned off, however this is common with most taps and should not put you of of being. The tap gives value for money as you can pay much more for the same tap from other sellers. The tap feels of a good build. Recommended.

Good looking mixer tap
This monobloc mixer tap was reasonably easy to install, looks well made, performs very efficiently, and, I hope, will give long service, as it is fairly expensive.

Super easy to fit
Surprised how easy this was to fit for someone like me that has very little DIY experience this was really easy and straightforward to install. The instructions are very clear and well set out with simple steps to follow and handy reminders so that you don't get your hot and cold mixed up. Seems to be of a good quality and fits in nicely with our kitchen, I replaced a mixer tap with this one as it had become loose from the sink base and was looking really worn out. The great thing with this set up is if we need a new tap in future we simply pop off the old one and slot on the new one without having to change the pipes or mess about under the sink and with it being a decent brand there should be spare parts easily available of needed.

Very easy to install where under sink access is limited
Bristan have really thought this through. You can install the tap sink clamp through the tap hole from the top of the sink. The clamp has a small 1/2 moon section cut out to allow the clamp to be teased through the hole. On each side of the clamp are the Two supply connections for the tap assembly. The cold side is the clamp (threaded on the outside) which is tightened by the Allen key supplied to fix base section to the sink. The hot water connection can be lifted out to allow the flexible tail pipe to be connected above the sink. You still have to connect the cold tail from underneath first. The top tap assembly is pushed onto the o ringed supply pipes and held on with 2 small grub screws with supplied tool. Very sturdy once assembled. Tap has 10 year guarantee and spare parts are available from bristan

Good budget kitchen tap.
Fitted 2 years ago with much ease. Only issue that I now have is that the hot tap now leaks and requires a new insert. No response from warranty claim.

Fitting can be a problem
The tap, after installation, is excellent, but......... 1. The flexible pipes are too short. I had to resort to some copper plumbing to make them fit. Even when they are fitted, the cut-off valve is still difficult to access, especially for a doddery old fool like me! 2. The grub screws are smeared with "Thread Lock" which makes them difficult to tighten. I bent an Allen key trying to tighten mine up. 3. The instructions are not all that good. There is a reinforcing plate supplied as an optional extra, but I couldn't see any way in which it can be used. After wracking my feeble brain I decided not to use it. 4. Also! Care is needed in positioning the large O Ring. When it is dry it very easily slips out of place. This could be remedied by a spot of silicone grease but this defeats the object of the O ring, it needs to be dry to hold the tap firmly - you don't want to have it slipping around. As I say, you need to be very careful, it's so easy to have it misaligned. The end result is a lovely tap.
