My niece wanted a penguin mom with babies and this reportedly thrilled her. She loved the little removeable egg pieces which taught her that they come from eggs. Everyone thought it was adorable.

I bought this as a birthday gift for an adult family member with Down syndrome who adores penguins! It’s a very cute idea with the baby penguins that go inside the big penguin and I think she’ll love it. The penguins don’t look exactly like the product photo (less round/stuffed) but still cute and very soft. The overall quality is pretty good, but not sure it was worth almost $30.It comes with four baby penguins and two “egg” accessories. One of the eggs has an elastic band and you can fit a baby penguin’s torso in the egg with just the head sticking out. Adorable! The other egg has a zipper, which I do think may confuse the gift recipient as you can’t fit any of the baby penguins in that egg fully zipped shut (shown in picture).The babies all fit nicely in the big penguin’s back while still being able to zip the back closed without too much tension on the zipper. It should be fairly easy to play with.A few cons:- The penguins came vacuum-sealed flat in a bag, so they all were pretty lopsided coming out of the bag. After some gentle re-shaping, they look good. Just be warned that if you want to give a gift receipt, this may not be a good gift for you since you have to open it to make it presentable.- The big penguin had thin protective plastic sheets over its eyes. It was pretty difficult to remove these because the plastic sheet wraps around under the hard plastic eye.- There are some very subtle blue-ish stains on the big penguin’s white belly and on one of the eggs (pictured). I don’t love that…but I don’t have enough time to order a replacement before her birthday :(Overall, not the best quality stuffed animals ever, but not bad either. Worth getting for the creative concept!

The fabric of this penguin is terrible, it’s sticky, leaves a weird film on your hands after touching. Leaves black fuzz everywhere. The baby penguins are terribly made and deformed looking, the “shells” that came with it for their eggs were a joke. Not worth the money!

My granddaughter wants to be a vegetarian and she is 8 years old the same as I was when my dreams started. I see in her eyes what her true calling.

Really angry. Terrible how it arrives packaged, when you unpack it it is completely crushed and shapeless, terrible quality and presentation. As a gift it is not worth paying so much for so little

I have a penguin loving daughter who saw this and was so excited to get it. Smaller then I thought it would be perfect size for small hands and very cute.

...aber man merkt auch, dass die Pinguine nicht die hochwertigsten sind. Zum bissl spielen und knuddeln aber ganz ok.
