Cleans dishes well.

I use this as laundry detergent. I have sensitive skin. I love very pretty clothes.A friend who is was a textiles major in college and is now professional wardrobe manager for some really famous musicians ( can't tell who) recommended this for me. I love it. There's no itching, no fading,no weird fragrance, no weird coating like with fabric softeners. I got to know about Ivory soap when I was looking for a product to clean marble with. It worked really well for this and I find it very soft on my hands for washing dishes too. This is a Very Good product and the best thing about it is that most of the harmful ingredients, like foaming agents, etc. are not there. I am not saying its a 100% natural but the ingredients list is different when I compare it to other brands. It is also cheaper! So I highly recommend it! I am intending to make a purchase of ten bottles, to have for a year ahead :)

This dishsoap does clean well, its light and you don't need much to do the dishes. It has a light clean fragrance, the classic smell ivory has had for years. And the quantity of the bottle lasts longer in a month or two. One thing I liked about this compared to others is its light, and some of the other major brands stay in the pans and pot as if it gets into the pans surface and you have to make sure to rewet the pan so your food doesn't get the chemicals in it.

I had an old bottle of this product and the new one does not measure up to it at all. The liquid is VERY thin and runny. You have to use MUCH more product to get things clean than you used to need

Traditionally I've used Ivory for dishwashing and it's fine. It's soap and has a pleasant scent. BUT, recently I discovered that it works wonderfully as an ingredient in home made dog shampoo. When the recipe calls for dishwashing soap, I turned to Ivory, because it's gentle yet, has the necessary detergents to get the job done. It works wonderfully and leaves a nice classic scent on my Husky. She enjoys her bath time!

Nothing remotely like the original scent more or plastic chemical scent if that makes sense save your money

I have used this product every day for several years (I don't have a dishwasher). It does a great job of cleaning and has never dried out my hands. Only one store in my area carries it, which is a grocery store that is not convenient for me to shop in and their prices are too high anyway, so I am pleased to be able to buy from Amazon now. My order arrived quickly and was packaged well.
