The Night In Question : An Agathas Mystery

An addictive mystery
So this book was about two teen detectives - Alice and Iris. And I have to say that I loved both of them and the ways in which they solve a mystery. The story has two mysteries that go parallel to each other. One is about the death of Mona Moody, an actress in 1949 and the other is about the attack of a high school girl, Kennedy by her friend. The second case is the reason why Alice and Iris decide to investigate. But what they find out is shocking not just to them but to me as well. The story was written in a very simple language and it is partly the reason why I love this book quite a lot. As a fan of Agatha Christie, I was able to connect with Alice and Iris. The ways they connected events, found clues, and solved the case was so good to read.Overall, one of the best detective stories that can satisfy a mystery reader.

An Adventurous Murder Mystery!
*I was sent a review copy by the publisher in exchange for an honest review.*The Agathas duology is an excellent fast-paced young adult mystery. It features teenage sleuths Alice and Iris who attempt to solve mysteries using their knowledge gained from reading Agatha Christie's books. The book is jam-packed with adventure, breaking rules, and a humorous relationship between the two protagonists. There are message conversations between the characters, TV interviews, and the dual perspective narrations. It makes the whole reading experience so enhanced and makes you keep reading the story. Although I had a hunch regarding the murderer, overall I liked how the story ended for all the characters. I can't wait to read the third book, as reading the relationship between the characters was so comforting. If you're in search of fast-paced, intriguing murder mystery novels, I strongly suggest checking out The Agathas and The Night In Question.

A perfect cozy murder mystery
This is the second book in the Agathas Mystery in which two teen girls who are huge fans of author Agatha Christie and have read all her books, try to solve their cases by these books. Along with solving tough cases they also try to solve complex teenage problems, their own friendship, family issues, their love life and balancing it with keeping good grades. These are explored wonderfully in the book.Being a fan of Agatha Christie myself, I could relate to the girls myself. In my teenage I also dreamed of becoming a sleuth. Language is lucid and can be read by all. All characters are well developed. The only thing I didn’t like was that it was lengthy. It could have finished few chapters before. Overall it’s a fun and light read. A perfect cozy murder mystery.I would love to read more of these book. Will wait eagerly for the next one. It is a perfect read for leisurely time. A must recommend for fans of mystery thriller.

Perfect pink thriller
You two really need to realize that you're not in a TV show or an Agatha Christie novel."The Annual Sadie Hawkins dance arranged at the famous Levy Castle turns horrific when a terrible storm hits and Alice redhandedly catches Helen Park standing over Rebecca who was assaulted, unconscious, and surrounded by blood. It's again time for Iris and Alice to put on their teenage-detective hats, fight against all odds, and solve this crime along with their friends.Wow! I absolutely loved this book. This is a part of the Agathas series and this is a must-read for all mystery fans. If you're a fan of Agatha Christie then this will be an extra special read for you. The plot was captivating and the plot twists were stunning. The story picked up pace right from the start and I couldn't drop this once I started. The dual POV was just perfect for this book and added more dimension to the main characters. I think that deep characters are so important in a YA novel and this book has aced it.This will be a perfect gift for tweens and teens, who love murder mysteries. I personally cherished this book so much and would love to recommend this to everyone. Can't wait for the next book in this series!

Underrated book 📚
@readswithtayee igThis book really had a lot of moving pieces & I loved it. I didn’t get confused by who was who & what is what, it was easy to understand. Easy to read with complex storyline. That’s hard to do, and I’m extremely surprised that the second book is better than the first.I really want to read more YA mystery books. I’m so intrigued! Also, as someone who is good at solving these things and while highlighting the beginning half way through, I already had a hint of it. Now I am intrigued how both mysteries played out. One I figured out just my the first chapter, and the other had me stumped. I did enjoy even with my hint, I liked how it ended. I hope for a 3rd one, maybe 2 povs again and different places but they somehow interact.

More Agatha Christie Ispiration
If you have read The Agathas by Kathleen Glasgow and Liz Lawson, you will love The Night In Question. Teenage sleuths Alice and Iris are again drawn into a challenging mystery. Plus, the intrepid duo is able to solve what really happened at the Levy Castle almost a century ago. With its great setting, well drawn characters, and action filled suspenseful plot, this is not only a highly entertaining book, but it would be a must see movie. The first Agatha book was geared to older teens, but younger teens can read this one without parental concern.I am already looking forward to the next book in the series!

Loved ❤️
While I didn't enjoy it as much as I did the first novel it was still a juicy read. I enjoyed both Iris and Alice equally. When it came to Moody there were so many characters that at one point I got a little confused but I caught back on. It was quite a nice late summer read 😊

Those meddling girls
Iris Adams and Alice Ogilvie. Name a better duo?! The Agatha’s series are the best books I’ve read in a long time. You’ll fall in love with iris’s sarcasm and Alice’s wit. They are two opposites who became bestfriends while solving mysteries in castle cove. This book follows iris and Alice with the help of the zoners attempting to uncover the truth of the attempted murder on a local teen. I loved everything about this, it’s better than the first book.
