A small piece of my flooring had chipped off so I filled the gap and then used the colours to blend it to my flooring.It was fairly easy to use, I recommend testing out the colours on an old piece of flooring if possible, to check colour match, and let it dry as it changes substantially! I mixed a variety of colours together to get the closest match and when dry, tried adding some lines with a wood crayon (not included).The pack contains a wide variety of colours plus a little pot for mixing which was useful, there is a good amount of paint. I am really happy with the end result, it is not noticeable at all in my kitchen. I'd definitely recommend.

Great idea but just didn't match the exact floor colouring for us despite the description looking like it would. Perhaps it may have been my mistake too - however you can also clearly see where the wax is - so not as subtle as you may think, particularly if the shades do not match completely.

Exactly what I needed to mend chips in a wooden mirror and to fill damage in a sanded floor. Would definitely recommend.

Seems to work well but is described as for laminate but in fact is for wooden furniture.

This is a great little kit, capable of finding a matching shade for most woods and finishes. It’s like having a mini graining kit in your arsenal. Good product, let’s just hope they don’t go rock solid on me now some of the tubes have been used.

I bought this kit as a temporary fix for our laminate floor which is peeling in places but not worth forking out a lot of money to replace yet.You have to take a lot of time and be patient to use this product, especially if the wood you are hoping to cover up has alot of tones, patterns or grains on it, like our floor does. It took my husband a while to find the right mix of paint colours to match our wooden floor and for more accuracy he had to mix seperate colours to use to draw the grain patterns for our floor. But once done, the colours match well. The kit is really handy because it comes with many, small, spare paint brushes and a wise variety of colours.The drawback with this product has been the putty supplied with it; the putty is great for filling in and evening out spots in the wood but annoyingly the whole top layer (of the very small pot) was dry and hard. So a waste of a lot of putty. Below this layer, the putty was softer and easier to use. So the packaging for this neede to be improver to ensure the putty stays useable.But Overall, for the price, it is a good temporary fix for those who want to save some money on a full fix.

I had a large chip out of my laminate flooring, I had tried other so called repair kits that were useless. I bought this kit without having great expectations but I was very impressed. It is easy to use it took me only about 15mins ( without drying time ) if I had taken more time I think I could have gotten a completely invisible repair however this is good enough for me and is barely visible.

Don't waste your money. This product was not spirit based, therefore it does not 'cure' and harden in the scratch, dent or crack. The filler and the paints can just rub off. It is not fit for the purpose it was sold for.

The colour matching markers are by far the best I have ever used. We've been trying for years to find the correct color to match our cabinets. We were even at the point of considering replacing the doors, which would have cost us thousands of dollars. The mix of mahogany, maple and walnut were perfect for the job. It took a little practice to get it right so I'd suggest starting on the back of the door or a section that is not too noticeable. To help blend the colors and to not have it look like my kids were coloring on you cabinets, I used a little bit of alcohol on the big brush, that was included in the set, and used it to artistically bleed the colors together. Worked get on my cupboards, but again would suggest trying in an inconspicuous spot.

I've had this item sitting on my "maybe" list for a while now and finally decided to go for it. I purchased it specifically for my kitchen cabinets which are almost 20 years old and have a lot of chips and nicks. We have tried over the years to touch them up with markers or paint but the colors never matched and they just looked worse. Today they look fantastic! I started with the markers that came with the set and that didn't work for me. The colors don't match my cabinets. I moved on to the wax crayons which also didn't work. Finally, I gave the "paint filler" paints a try. It took a lot of trial and error to mix the colors to match my cabinets. But eventually I landed on a good mix and they look great now. I then moved on to fix some wood blinds and they look great. And then I moved on to our office furniture which thankfully matched well with the teak paint filler so no blending was required. I'm so happy that I went ahead with this order because I had resigned myself to needing to get the cabinets refinished and now I feel like they will last me quite some time before I need to go that route. I imagine the markers and way crayons would be useful for some repairs, just didn't work for my particular needs.Tips: (the instructions that came with it were not very helpful)I used mineral spirits to gently wipe down the areas that I touched up so that the paint would just be in the crack or nick. Otherwise you would see the matte paint filler stand out from the glossier cabinets. There is beeswax that you can use to cover the touched up areas. I'm not sure how I feel about that yet. I used it in some areas and not in others.Lighting matters! My kitchen is a bit dark and so it's not that easy to see how well the color matched. But when I shined a worklight on the area, I found I couldn't get a perfect match no matter how I tried. Eventually I just accepted that It looks good in the lighting in which it will be seen typically and nobody will be shining worklights on the cabinets.The paints dry darker so go a little lighter to start. I would probably start with a test run in a hidden area with all the colors to see how they dry and then go from there.

My puppy chewed up a corner of my cabinet pretty good. I thought there wasn't going to be a way for me to fix it myself. I bought this kit as a last ditch effort since I'm in a rented apartment and would like to keep my deposit at the end of my lease. It's not the most perfect fix, which is mostly on my part figuring out the sanding and puttying. But I was surprised at how well it did the job and was more than happy with the color matching so well. This kit came with literally everything I needed and (didn't know I needed) for this little project and I couldn't be happier with the results. Here's some before and after pics

Même si je veux fignoler mon travail, personne ne peut voir qu'il y a eu un «accident» sur ma porte.Pendant les travaux chez moi, une porte lourde est tombée sur la porte extérieure de mon condo en faisant un trou large et profond dans le bois. J'ai tenté plusieurs façons, mais ca ne fonctionnait pas. Ce «kit» est vraiment super. Je n'ai malheureusement pas de photo avec ce trou énorme, mais voici une étape très avancée. Il faudra fignoler un peu dans une prochaine étape. La cire remplit bien le trou, peu à peu. Les petits pinceaux et la peinture font la couleur. Il faut mélanger pour obtenir la même couleur (rayures) que le motif de la porte.Je suis d'autant plus contente que lorsque cette porte lourde est tombée, c'est ma tête qui était en-dessous... et c'est ce trou qui m'a épargné une grave fracture du crane!!!

I am not a fix-it or artsy-crafty person but I found this kit very easy to use. I love the markers and the wood putty/filler. I didn’t like the touch up filler sticks as much because they were like big crayons and the color didn’t come off of them easily, so I felt like I had to push too hard and possibly damage the furniture surface.The color selection of the liquid wood filler was great! So many options. I was able to match my off-white furniture pretty closely. The markers also had good selection, although I wish they had as many colors as the filler. No off-white option there.This would make a great gift for anyone who has had their furniture for a while. Also good for dents and dings after a move. I wish the instructions were a little more detailed for people like me, but all in all, a great product!
