GLS Audio XLR Male to 1/4" Male TRS Adapter Gender Changer - XLR-M to 6.3mm Stereo Coupler Adapters - 4 PACK

First off, these are great adapters. If you truly need to rely on the cable you plan to use these with, these adapter are ready. I'd go so far as to say that, in a few billion years, when aliens land or whatever they might not find many signs of humanity still around but I bet they'll find these adapters. And they'll probably still work like the day they were purchased. They are tough. And lock in to place very solidly. But... BEWARE! I accidentally received the wrong adapter when I purchased these, from Amazon. Was no fault of GLS, as they ship by the truckload to Amazon and Amazon takes care of the rest. Which makes them arrive quickly and allows use of Amazon's excellent return policy/etc. But you really need to look closely at what you've received. And ensure you get the balanced or unbalanced versions you wanted. I bought these in January 2019 and did not notice until the end of April that I had received the unbalanced TS versions instead of the TRS. As the interface I use has balanced outputs, and my cables are a bit on the longer side, it was a bit of a letdown. Although, it probably does speak to the high quality of their TS versions. Even though Amazon is a bit judicial about their return window, if you receive the wrong set and do not notice within 30 days, you might try reaching out directly to GLS. Don't want to put them on the spot, but they were able to make me a satisfied customer, with very quick response time. It won't surprise you when you get these adapters in your hands and see/feel/experience the quality of what they're doing at GLS.

Our church uses these to solve the myriad 1/4 TRS to XLR cabling issues we run into. They come in very handy, are made well and perform well.

These adapters fit all my needs. First of all the price is on point, secondly the connections are stable and of great construction. I have been using them as 1/4 in output jack from my sound board to xlr cables input to dslr video camera for livestream and taping. Works wonderful. P.S. Glad to have 4 pack Joe P. Peekskill N.Y.

GLS is the only company I trust for audio adapters. For some reason, it is unbelievably difficult to find high quality, reliable audio adapters - but GLS does it right. They are reasonably priced and built to last! I have a couple different cables and adapters by them and haven’t had one fail since I started using them a few years ago.

Our church needed 1/4" adapters to use with our sound system. The ones we found locally were not designed with real users in mind. Musicians can be rough on plugs and connectors as they move around. These adapters really are designed well and can take the wear-and-tear our musicians can dish out. We are very pleased. We are now able to adapt our microphone cables to be used in many configurations. We bought sets of the male gender changers and female gender changers. The sound quality has not been altered by the use of these adapters. We are very pleased to have found these.

Do what they are supposed to. No issues with product. Specialty purpose, so make sure you know what you are doing before using these and don't e.g. run phantom power into your headphones jack. Using this to run amplified stereo headphones signal back through the monitor returns (XLR) on my snake for home studio silent recording. GLS/Orange County Speaker Supply has been there for me for over a decade, and never let me down. Once I got a bad cable, back in like 2006. They replaced it quickly and apologized. Otherwise, quality stuff at crazy cheap prices.

I recently bought 2 of the 4-packs of this item. I immediately tested them before putting them into my adapter box, only to discover that one of them has an intermittent connection on lead #1. Beware: these items are sealed. You can't fix them if they break (or have bad solder on a lead). I'd rather see the case openable, so I can get in and tinker with it.
