Great product from a reliable company. I just received the package. Packaging was questionable, in fact there was no packaging at all. The cooker box was treated as the delivery box and receipt was pasted it. The box has been thrown with which receipt too is gone. This is monsoon time and they should have, at least, slipped the box in a waterproof packet to save it from water. The cooker is fine. I think the company should have provided one extra gasket which would have made us comfortable. It has wide mouth so it is easy to stir things or even cleaning becomes convenient. The side walls are solid. I wish it lasts for a decade.

I used last 3 years really good. Enough for 4 people. No issue after using 3 year.

The Hawkins Tri-Ply 4.5-liter cooker is excellent; it cooks food quickly and works instantly on induction cooktops. The quality is very good, but when cooking lentils—such as moong dal foam spills out of the cooker, which I do not like.

The delivery was prompt ! The product by Hawkins isn’t that great as the main reason I bought this was there should be A uniform heat distribution while using . But the base does get heat burn n scotch marks post the cooking session . It is better than the satilon coated Hard anodised one Pressure cooker as the coating Doesn’t wear off . But it cannot be considered an A++ Product by Hawkins . There are others in the market which are more durable n sturdy n able to take the brunt of high heat cooking . The material too isnt that strong . I have bought this but wouldn’t advise others to go for it !

I love this pressure cooker! I’ve been using it for several weeks now and it works great. It’s the triple ply design that makes it more expensive than the sandwich base type or aluminium, but it’s worth it. The stainless steel finish looks lovely and I found the 3.5 litre size ideal for 3-5 people. I’ve used it for dhal, rajma, chicken curry and pearl barley. The results were excellent. It holds pressure well and cooks on the lowest gas setting with no issues at all. I saw a few negative reviews and frankly I’m puzzled. Food doesn’t stick. It’s excellent for pre-frying onions or chicken - works better than a high end stainless steel skillet. The lid fits perfectly well too. Just use common sense - use enough oil and liquid. Keep the temperature on low once it gets to full pressure and you won’t go wrong. Practice putting the lid on and off a couple of times and it will be second nature in no time. The simple tech - basic weight to hold pressure is a bonus. We had a complex adjustable Tefal pressure cooker some years ago and it was nothing but trouble. My mother and sister also have Hawkins pressure cookers (different models to mine) and they are all great. If you’re looking for a value for money cooker just go for it.
