Doesnt fit, don't waste your time. Was using on a girls 16" bike.

I wanted this post to replace the seat and post on a mountain bike. I thought I was ordering the correct diameter post. I failed to see the marking on the original post that indicated it was 27.2mm. There is nothing wrong with this post as long as the receiving tube is 25.4mm.

This post was the same height as the one that came on my sons bike. He needed something a little shorter to be able to get on the seat comfortably. This was affordable enough that I could use the grinder to cut part of the post, which actually worked perfectly. It fit on the seat great and I've had no issues with the quality. Shame they don't sell shorter posts for this purpose, though.

Bought it as a post replacement for my 26' Hyper mountain bike as I switched to another double-width seat and was looking for a shorter post. Excellent craftsmanship, solid and durable, color matches, length works perfect. This truly is a great seat post, I would recommend it!
