This product works great. I don't usually leave reviews, however, I needed to on this item. I'm 45 and for a few years now since becoming perimenopausal the skin on my cheeks had become bumpy textured along with some light discoloration all over my face from years pf sun exposure. I got this hoping it could help and my has it ever! I was skeptical due to he photos provided in another review where it looked like a peeling face mask you rub on and rinse off I wasn't sure if that would do much for my skin. I was pleasantly surprised when I started rubbing it on and just like the photo I seen it started to stick together in small clumps as you rub. I rinsed it off and it revealed my smooth textured face. I have sensitive skin, which this works well with no irritation, so I only use once to twice a week in my skin care regimen. I am a very happy customer and will be continuing to purchase.

This stuff is the bomb and there is a ton of it in this bottle. You have to use it with dry hands and dry skin. I like to rub it on right before I get in the shower because the little crumbles fall off of it. It does a great job of removing bits of dry skin from your face if you use it properly. It is very gentle and you can use it around your eyes and mouth.

Perfect for sensitive skin. Gently exfoliates. I use it 2-3 times a week and absolutely love it. It is on my subscription list.

I’ve been using this product for the past year and honestly can’t imagine my skincare routine without it. I use this 1-2 times a week or when my skin is feeling dry/dull and it removes all of the dead skin and leaves your skin super soft. I‘ve used other micro peels (like boscia’s), but for the price point you can’t beat this product. Would recommend to anyone, I have combination skin leaning on the drier side and also super sensitive skin and I have never had any issues using this product.

TL;DR: This feels like a mid-strength gommage/enzyme peel. It has a fairly strong fragrance and I don't know why every product has to be scented these days. Works similar to Ebanel and Dr G Brightening, but costs a little more (than Ebanel, anyway). Would repurchase only if I can't get one of those others. Sorry for using the word "product" 8 zillion times, just not sure what a better word would be. I'll give my opinion on THESAEM product, then my gommage/enzyme peel spiel for those that haven't used one before. This product (THESAEM) is one of the decent ones, mid-grade. The best, and first, gommage product I ever used was Oro Gold. It was amazing, but also like $100 for a small tube 15 years ago. The next best I've used was Cure Aqua, then after not using it for a few years I got a bad bottle (I think, unless the formula changed) and haven't tried it again. Following that, Ebanel, THESAEM, and Dr G are all very similar to me. Ebanel has been my go-to product for a whole because it works decently for the price. I've tried several under $10 products, ones that have a fruit in the name (like lemon peel or apple peel, don't recall exactly), and they were all a complete waste of time and money. This week I tried THESAEM and Ebanel side by side (technically armpit by armpit, if you really want to know) and the only difference I could tell was that THESAEM has a strong scent that I dislike. The Ebanel scent is present, but much less. There are people thay claim these "peels" don't actually so anything and that the little balls of stuff are only the product balling up- that is true for some that I've used, usually the $10 or less products (on Amazon. I have tried a $20 Korean product from CVS that did nothing, and would probably be $7 on Amazon). The products that actually contain enough protease (usually papain and/or bromelain) do work. You do need to have the proper expectations, though. This type of product IS NOT GOING TO DO A DEEP PEEL. You know when you go to put foundation on and it catches on bits and flakes of skin? Those bits are what this type of product can remove. It will not fix your hyperpigmention, it will not reduce your wrinkles, it will not change your scars. It will loosen the very superficial layer of dead skin cells, which will then mix with the "balls of gommage" and rinse away. I use a daily salicylic/lactic/glycolic acid toner that has saved my acne prone skin, and then this product 1-2x weekly to remove the flaky skin the toner causes and also to get that layer of dead skin out of the way so the acids can penetrate better. This is good and bad- be aware that your skin may be more sensitive to other products after a gommage treatment. I hope this helps somebody!

INCREDIBLE!! I love this product so much that it caused me to write my first ever review. It is AMAZING!! I didn't think it would be as amazing as all the reviews said, but I thought I would give it a try anyway. I've been wanting a peel to help with my skin and WOW. After one use, I am amazed at how well it worked. My dead skin was coming off immediately and it was not too harsh at all. When I was done my skin felt soooooo soft, the softest it has EVER been. I highly recommend this product. I can't stop touching my soft face.

This is really great for exfoliating, I use it once a week. My face feels much less congested after using this. Works great!

I have used a handful of different peeling gels. This one stands out as a fake! The gel coagulates into clumps that IMITATE dead skins. It barely touched my skin and formed an exaggerating amount of "dead skins". Please see my attached photo, how the gels turned into white particles and filled in my skin instead of removing dead skin. It's a total scam. DO NOT BUY.
