The best pregnancy preparation book I've ever had. Everything is explained in a very easy to understand way. Each page contains additional information, interesting facts or useful tips that I personally used during my pregnancy. The development of the fetus/child is also described day by day throughout the entire pregnancy, which I consider a big advantage. Every week you can see what the child looks like at a given stage of development. At the same time, the book contains information useful when planning a pregnancy, during the postpartum period, and answers to the strangest questions that may arise in the mind of a future mother. The reading is extensive, but the graphic design of the book is interesting - it is not a "wall of text". I highly recommend the purchase.

Beautiful
My husband and I have just started trying for a baby, so I bought this book for us to both read, and WOW! Such a beautiful book with a wealth of information. I love how there's interesting things to read about baby all 280 days of pregnancy, and I love how there's a ton of pages on labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn care. This would also be an amazing gift for a newly pregnant mom or someone beginning their TTC journey.

Pregnancy Day By Day
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this book!!! IT IS WAAAY BETTER THAN THE WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN EXPECTING book!!! I used it for both of my pregnancies 3y ago and 19m ago and totally enjoyed reading about what my little one was doing THAT day. My hubby and I read it every night as it corresponded to the pregnancy day. When I delivered my first at 38wks 3days I wrote her birthday on the page leaf for that day. With my son, he came at 40wks and 1 day. I totally loved all the information that the book provided about nutrition, what I may be feeling, WHAT THE BABY WAS DOING AND LOOKING LIKE IN UTERO that day! The photos are AMAZING!! It was so reassuring and it told me what I should be asking my doctor at that visit and/or what tests are usually done and why. Really great book. I have a good friend who’s daughter is pregnant and I thought about loaning her my book but decided against it because it really is better for her to have her own book to make notes in, etc. So I bought this one for her. I hope they never stop making it. As for mine, I’ll hand it down to my daughter when she starts her family. Overall, I TRIPLE recommend it!!

Informative, but generalized
A very interesting book. I love all the pictures and the details it gives for each day/stage of pregnancy. I never ended up finishing it along with my pregnancy, and doubt I would reference it again. I just found that the information was so generalized that most of the things it described never applied to me. Beautiful, interesting, but probably not going to read again

This book is fricking awesome!
This is like an old school super high quality text book with amazing pictures and descriptions of what happens every day to the embryo/fetus and to the mother, and even goes pretty far after birth into breastfeeding and all sorts of topics. It’s super super helpful to have and my husband reads it every day too. It’s so exciting to read and I’m so glad we found this book!! Highly recommend

Excellent resource for moms to be
I borrowed this book from my local library and liked it so much that I decided to purchase it on Amazon. It’s full of helpful, no nonsense and thorough information from medical experts. I can’t recommend this book highly enough! It was so helpful at easing anxiety and answering questions I didn’t know I had! It also was so exciting to be updated daily on the development of the baby from literally week 3 - 40 for me! Fabulous for anyone expecting (good info for men too)

Really useful for first pregnancy
This book really helped me during my pregnancy. It was so nice understanding how my baby was growing and developing. And it also helped give me the right questions to raise with my prenatal medical carers. By reading a week or two ahead, I felt informed and knew what to expect.
