Best kids leak free water bottle
This is the first water bottle that I've found to be leak free. They're lightweight and insulated enough so that it doesn't sweat when filled with cold water. Even though it doesn't keep water cold as long as insulated stainless steel water bottles, water still stays cold for about 2-3 hours. And at my kids' ages, it's more important to me that the water bottles don't leak if left on its side or tossed in a backpack.

The cap is hard to pull up
Got this for my son but the mechanism to pull the cap up to open up the water is extremely tight. He has trouble pulling it up by himself. Unfortunately have to rate this item low due to the fact it’s not very kid friendly.

Strong plastic smell
I was very excited when I bought this bottle for my son. It fits his bike holder well and is easy to use and clean. Few days ago I drank water from this bottle as I had no other on hand and was very disappointed that I tasted a strong plastic flavor in the water. I tried again the next day and with same result. My son has been using it daily in school and bike rides for over a month and I noticed his water consumption lowered significantly. Now I know why, he doesn’t like his water. He really like the bottle design. Anyway, I just found a stainless steel bottle on Amazon and will go with that from now on. The plastic is number 4 (recycling code) and that talks for itself.Result: lesson learned!
