I have tried several different brands (Derby, Van der Hagen, Dorco) and these shave much closer and smoother.I even shaved dry, which none of the other blades could do without catching and nicking.My box has also the obscure country of origin markings like most reviews state.I was skeptical because of the low reviews, but I took a chance and it was worth it.I can shave much quicker because there’s no pulling at all. So far two shaves on one blade. I normally get just one with other blades.

I had a couple nicks my first few shaves, which is expected since my technique was basically non-existent.
