——Before reading, please consider that my hair is thick and I also have a good amount of it, so I had no problem, I don’t know how this product would work if you have a fine hair, this comment is based on my own experience.— I’ve purchased my tape in extensions(about 150g of hair) here on Amazon(I don’t remember the brand rn), had it on for about a month but decided to take them off. So I started to look for a product to do so, and saw this one, when I bought it I was in a hurry, so I quickly went to the comments section and I saw good reviews, decided to buy it. When I got the product, I went to the comments section again to see what I should do/be aware of before using this product, and I found a LOT of bad reviews, which made me afraid to use it but I really wanted to take my extensions off, so I went for it(I’ve also watched videos on YouTube to be prepared), and this is what happened: I used the step 1, it’s really oily, so it helps them to come off easily but it smells really bad, because of the percentage of alcohol, which I was aware. All though, it worked just fine for me, I took my time, went thru every tape, one by one, carefully removing from my real hair, and every time I held my roots and then started to pull them off, it was painless and took about 50 minutes. Step 2: also very oily, but once again, it helps to take the glue out of your hair. I divided my hair in sections, sprayed the product(step 2) and used a comb to brush it, and this is the part that you have to be careful (at least from my experience), the glue is going to stick with your hair, so don’t brush too hard, be gentle and patience, otherwise you will unnecessarily lose few strands of hair. After I finished I noticed that I lost some amount of hair but I have to say, naturally we all lose strands of hair, everyday, and because you have the extensions attached to your hair for months or so, of course there will be some that are not really attached on your head, they were there because of the glue, so NOT ALL THE HAIR THAT FALLS are going to be the product’s fault, and that’s what I saw a lot of people complaining about on the comments, but yet I do agree that the whole process will make some hair fall off. Anyways, after that, I continued brushing my hair for 5 minutes, and let it sit for at least 10 more min, just to make sure it was going to work. Step 3: I used my Neutrogena anti residue Shampoo, applied my everyday shampoo and then the conditioner. The results were pretty good, no glue, no damage, nothing. But once again, that was my experience, I don’t know how it would work in someone else’s hair.

Omg the best tape remover I have used hands down. I have worn tape ins on and off for years and this is the first time I have very very very little hair fallout when removing. Definitely recommend if you want to save your hair when removing it’s worth the price and extensions melt right off.

i have been wearing tape in extensions for about 10 years now and when i say this is the BEST remover, i mean it!! i stopped half way through taking them out to post this review , i wish i found this product years ago! it is so much quicker to get these out and having the #2 oil remover after has saved my life and my hair!!!!!! i HIGHLY recommend buying this! i will never buy another remover again!!!!!!

I bought this product because of the reviews. It works pretty good, I am a professional hairstylist and used this on my client and was able to remove the tape in hair extensions pretty easy with this. I gave it 4 stars because it leaves residue on the hair and makes it feel dry/stiff, even after shampooing a few times with clarifying shampoo and then moisturizing shampoo. I'm trying different things each time, hopefully I can find a solution because I really do like how easy it is to remove the extensions with this product.

Works so well! But user be warned: removing tape-in extensions is a dedicated task. It will probably take 2 hours minimum to remove the extensions, discard the tapes, dissolve the adhesive still in your hair, and thoroughly wash it all out. I am talking about 7 "sandwiches" of extensions. I plan to take half a day off work before my hair appts. I do still feel it's totally worth it though, and this product -recommended by hairstylist, BTW- makes it far less of a chore!

I bought this because of all the positive reviews, but I am very disappointed. I finally got a chance to use it a couple days ago, and found that it doesn't help much in removing the tape. I have used other tape in remover solutions that worked so much better than this. The stuff I used before this worked to remove the tape within seconds, no pulling, hair loss or pain, and have decided I am going back to that solution because it really helped remove the tape ins fast. I have 2.5 packs of tape in extensions in, and it took me just under 2 HOURS of using this product to remove them without pulling my hair out. The solution from both bottles are almost completely empty from that one use. I will never purchase this again! As I said, I am going back to the solution I used before, it removed the tape within seconds, no pulling or hair loss and was just so much easier, faster, cost much less and worked in like 30 minutes to remove the tape ins. This product was not anywhere are good as my go to product that I am returning to. I lost more of my natural hair using this horrible product and it took just under 2 HOURS. Such a waste of time. Such a waste of money. I regret this purchase and urge you to look into something better. There are great tape in remover solutions out there that cost less and work so much better and so much faster than this. This was a bad purchase. I regret purchasing this product.

So it was the first time doing my tape in extentions at home and the tape lasted 1 month and my grow out was insane and my hair kept ta going so bad I was dying to get them out but was convinced because of the tangles, I would have to go to a professional. I ordered this product and immediately used it.The day that I got it.Starting with the first spray, you just literally spray it front to back, and it immediately dissolves and slides right out of the hair zero pain!! I was shocked and literally screaming with joy! Lol then, I only had a tiny bit of residue left over, which was also really surprising.I think because of the first product and that immediately took it out.And I only had to wash my hair one time, and my hair is in perfect condition with no hair loss. Well besides the tangles that I created myself. Hands down, this is the best product ever.And I have so much more left over for way more future uses.So overall, the price is a little bit steep.But I have so much more left, and i'm probably gonna get at least three more uses out of both of them. So I would say you get about four uses out of one bottle. But I use about 150-200g worth of tape ins.

I was super excited to try this product, my tape ins are 26 inch human hair and very expensive, the process was quick, easy and painless. I lost no hair in the process. Be liberal with the product especially step 2, and make sure for step 1 you are in a well ventilated area due to the alcohol smell. Best remover on the market!

This product is AMAZING. I had a full two packs of tape in extensions in and used this product to get them out and it was such an easy pain free experience. The remover breaks down the adhesive so easily you can pull the tapes apart with just your fingers and the step 2 is great at removing any residue. I got my entire head done in about 30 minutes no fuss no pain. Highly recommend and would definitely use again!

AMAZING! I actually think it worked better than the salon remover! Will definitely buy this again and take out my own extensions, saving myself tons of money at the salon!
