Mizuno Women's Wave Lightning RX3 Volley Ball Shoe

I really like doing research on getting good volleyball shoes, so based on previous reviews I got 1/2 size larger 9.5. They feel tight and snug when I 1st got them, so I knew I would have to break them in like a new softball glove. I have worn them for a couple of games and my ankles felt supported and they wear comfortable. At this point I would not be able to wear a ankle brace; but the shoe was very snug and comfortable around the ankle area. Hopefully, they will be broke in by Oct for the Huntsman games.

We really like these shoes. My daughters have been playing volleyball for years and Mizuno is our brand. We have bought the newest models and used some older models when we needed to save money. They hold up awesome. I have handed them down to others who are just starting volleyball and they have gotten good use out of them too.

I bought these about 2 weeks ago. I do not play volleyball however I rarely wear athletic shoes because i have a high arch, long toes , narrow feet but when I step down my foot widens. Terribly hard to find the right shoe!! ... I found them & couldn't be happier. I'm amazed at how well these fit my feet, Luvit!!!! Fits like a glove. In the past few weeks, I've bought 4 pairs, different colors. Awesome shoe!!! No need for arch supports. These have it all. So comfy I'd sleep in them lol. Thank You Mizuno!!!!!!!

They are a great shoe. They have held up well to almost two weeks of wear and tear in a warehouse. Due to the fact I am working 12 hours shifts, my feet do swell considerably making these a bit narrow. They are a sturdy shoe so they don't soften and mold to the shape of your foot as quickly as a more inexpensive shoe. The arch support is perfect and my feet feel considerably better than they did in a cheaper shoe. The quality is there. Probably the worst issue is I have a latex allergy and do to how stiff the shoe is constructed, I am reacting to the materials where my heel is. While it is easy to remedy with thicker socks and ointment it is more of an annoyance that I can work with if it means my feet and back aren't aching constantly.

These shoes were really nice. The grip on the court was great. They are super light. I just have very slender/narrow feet so the section above my toes had a huge gap. Because of that I had to stop playing and switch shoes. If my feet were not so difficult I would have definitley kept these! They are true to size and have nice support in the heel which I appreciate as a volleyball player. I'm going to move on to the Mizuno Wave Lightning Z to see if that is better. So far I've had to return the Asics Gel Domain 3 and the Nike Volley Hyperspike. Out of these three shoes the Lightning RX3 has been the best so far for me. Gel Domain 3 was too big and clunky. The Hyperspikes are more like basketball shoes and super heavy and clunky.

I bought these shoes for my daughter in a size 8.5 originally because that is her normal athletic shoe size in other brands. They were too big so we ordered these before returning the others to avoid delay. The 8's fit her perfectly. The only thing is with volleyball socks, these shoes do fit a bit narrow so her pinky toe on one foot got a blister. Other than that there is plenty of room on the length of the shoe and she has an easier time jumping at the net due to their nice traction. They look a lot cuter on...Amazon was out of her size in a first-choice color, but now she loves how these look.

Shoes were too small. Ordered another pair of size 10. The shoes arrived and the box said was the wrong shoe (different model) and wrong size. INSIDE of the box was the correct shoe, but it was the wrong size (10.5). I still have no idea how it was possible to get the correct shoe (even though it was the wrong size) when the box is labeled differently. When I contacted Amazon, we found out that they had no size 10's in the specific color combination that my daughter's team required. Amazon acted very quickly to refund our money. I did two returns in about three days with Amazon and it was about as painless as it can be. I ended up having to get the shoes through another site. The shoes themselves are just fine.

Still breaking them in, but after 4 intense games of volleyball today, I did not think about my feet while I was playing, nor did I have any soreness afterwards. It's been too long since I last ordered a good pair of volleyball shoes. I am very happy with this purchase.
