The Hygge Game

My daughter is obsessed with all things "Hygge," so when I saw this game, I knew I had to get it for her. It has been a huge hit! She absolutely loves bringing it out to ask friends and family the various questions. What makes it great: Stress-Free Conversation: The questions are simple and engaging. They don't require you to overthink your answers, which keeps the mood light and "cozy" just like the name suggests. Great for Bonding: As a parent, I’ve really enjoyed playing this with her. It has allowed me to learn things about her that wouldn’t typically come up in everyday conversation. Simple but Meaningful: Even though the age says 14+, my 11-year-old handles the concepts perfectly. It’s a great tool for building closeness. If you’re looking for a low-pressure way to spark meaningful conversations and spend quality time together, I highly recommend this game!

It’s absolutely kid friendly but isn’t the best game to play with kids - but there are ways around it. Some of the questions just don’t apply to kids so we skip those. Regardless, it is a great “game” and really opens up conversation and learning about others. Excellent gift idea.

I bought this for a friend. It’s such a great conversation starter/game. We really enjoy playing as a group of moms and daughters. Great for multi generational players. Really interesting chats evolve and it’s fun. Great value.

This game is great for a group of people to get to know eachother. Each card has 2-3 open-ended conversations. Perfect way to get to know new (or old) people in your life. A little expensive for a small game but worth it as you will have it for a long time.

Very mindful and cozy, perfect for groups that know each other well and for groups that are not well known to each other! Good balance of questions that encourage community! Fun and easy to use with less forced conversation or awkward “get to know you” ice breakers

Perfect for the small-talk impaired. Even if you don't use these in a group, they are great to review before a family gathering to grab a few topics and ideas for harmless chatter. The topics are interesting and fun, not bland and there are a lot of cards with multiple topics on each. A lifetime supply of safe conversation starters.

Bought for the in-laws and they love it. Bring it with them camping all the time and has sparked some good conversations. Not so much a game as a “Get to know you” prompt.

I bought this game to keep on the coffee table, thinking it may be fun as a periodic conversation starter for us or if friends were over if conversation lulled. To my surprise, my kids frequently pick out a card to ask us, so I have tried to remember to do the same. It’s been a fun way to gain insights into what my family values/enjoys or how they think.

I have bought this 3 times as every time I buy someone who plays wants it and take it away. So I highly recommend to have it especially when you want to create conversations and trust me this can tickle your memory with such simple topics and keep the conversation going. Some questions can stay for an hour .

Ci abbiamo giocato in 3 per passare meglio il tempo durante un viaggio in macchina. Ottimo, specialmente quando sulla A1 c'é il solito incidente e rimani bloccato in coda per un ora. Lo svolgimento é di una semplicitá unica: la scatola contiene delle cartoline. Ogni cartolina contiene delle domande aperte di carattere personale. Qualcuno legge le domande una alla volta e, a turno, si risponde. Le domande sono di vario tipo, ma anche le piú banali possono aprire discussioni infinite. Pro: * Anche chi ha le mani impegnate puó partecipare. * Non serve spazio, carta o penna. Soltanto poter ascoltare e rispondere * Non ci sono vincitori né vinti (magari per qualcuno é un contro) * Ottimo modo per legare con gli amici Contro: * É in inglese, assicuratevi di mettere alla pari chi magari non lo parla

Está en inglés. Pero las preguntas generan un buen ambiente y conexión. Es una forma hygge de conocer a la gente cercana.
