Nice to have extra battery to pop in there when low.
Effective swap-able battery system. Remote, controller board, battery and hub motors work well together. Hub motors have plenty of power. The battery has enough power for a good ride but buying a spare battery probably makes sense for if you plan to go far.The one odd thing is the unit attaches to the board only with the truck screws. Nothing attaches the heavy battery end of the unit to the board other than the metal base plate that supports the whole unit and goes between the back trucks and the board. Everything seems fairly tight to the board and might even provide a little flex to make taking bumps easier on the battery.

Bought this drive a while ago. Absolutely flawless. Faster than anything I have ever owned, high torque and removable battery. I have 3 batteries so I can go for about 20 miles. All that is needed is a deck and front trucks. The regenerative breaking is the smoothest I have ever experienced, and I own 6 other brand e-skateboards. I barely ride any of the other ones anymore. Anyway, this is the best drive out there right now and probably will be for quite some time. Leaving reviews isn't really something I enjoy doing, but because I think this drive is so good I REALLY want them to succeed and I figure the more they sell, the more development will take place down the road for future models.
