Worked great for Icemaker line.
Compression fitting so no tape - no leakConnected to my cold water supply line valve and used Braided Stainless Steel line with a 1/4" Female Compression Thread to connect to the ice Maker.

Need to use lots of thread sealer or compound.

Needs better gasket
It not worth the money the price always fluctuates in the cart it was cheap when I ordered at the time but I don't recomend it does not tighten and will leak need to add extra gasket to prevent

Defective and leaks
Waste of money, the part was poorly made and defective. It wouldn't keep a seal, and leaked pretty bad. I even tried teflon tape, and when that didn't work, I tried a sealant, which also didnt stop it from leaking.

Disappointed.
For some reason maybe a dud in the butch after sealing and taping mine continued to leak. Couldn’t use. No point in trying to return either.
