Awesome little workhorse oscillating fans! Very comfortable noise level, they do a great job of cooling, and circulating wind. I love the color green, so these are pretty fun to have around. They work great for plants, as well as seedlings to help with roots, and humidity. The controls are adjustable, and I like that it comes with options for powering.

I purchased this fan in February and it worked great during the early spring to start vegetable seeds indoor. It was rarely used once the last frost (late April) passed, but I began to use it again this month. It started out fine for a couple of days, but stopped oscillating. I was prepared to give it two stars, one star for prompt delivery and explanation of its capabilities, and one star for the fact it seems a solid, well-made product. I wrote to VIVOSUN, not to request a refund (way outside of return time frame) but just to let them know if wasn't working. To their credit, they wrote back right away with a request for additional information so they could troubleshoot. I decided to give it another try and, of course, it is working fine now. (Murphy's Law). Since it is working as designed, I am glad to give it five stars, with a compliment to VIVOSUN for the prompt communication. UPDATE: The fan stopped working again. The seller requested a video showing the issue, which I supplied, and they are providing a refund that I can use to reorder the unit, which I will do. I still give the product five stars, as well as the seller.

I love the Vivosun products. I have their large grow tent, AC unit, heater, lights and humidifier. Everything is controlled by the Vivosun app and controller module. I purchased these and yes they stopped oscillating. But I reached out to Vivosun and the support team was great. They offered a refund or a replacement fan. I had purchased two of them and like the breeze they put out. So I opted to get two replacements. At least if they stop oscillating also then I'll still have a breeze everywhere as their will be one in each corner. I would recommend this product again and no they are not asking me to write this. Lol

I recently purchased the VIVOSUN AeroWave E6 Grow Tent Fan 6 in., and overall, I'm very pleased with its performance. The fan delivers excellent airflow, which has significantly improved the ventilation in my grow tent. It's relatively quiet, efficient, and easy to install, making it a great addition to my setup. However, I did notice that the screws are beginning to rust due to the high humidity levels inside the tent. This is a bit disappointing, as it may affect the longevity of the fan. Despite this issue, the fan's overall performance and the positive impact on my plants make it a solid choice for anyone looking to enhance their grow tent's environment. If VIVOSUN could address the rusting issue, this fan would be perfect!

Edit: vivosun reached out and offered a refund or replacement. I asked for a replacement, which they promptly shipped. No hassle on my end. Adjusting my review from a 1 star to 5 star status. I think this sort of customer service deserves a top notch review score. At the time of writing this, i have only just received the replacement, so I can only comment on the fan's performance as great when it is in fully functioning form. Original review: Stopped working after about 6 months of use. I would think that a fan made for constant use in a green house type setting would be built to last, but apparently not. Not worth the money, cheaper dollar store fans would be a better option.

VivoSun AeroWave E6 Fan I have to say that I was hesitant about writing a review, because if you do so… you need to put your name on the results. That means an investment of time and effort, attention to detail, and the discipline to write it all down, so when asked what I think about this new product, I wanted to be absolutely positive about the results, so I purchased one and used it during my grow. First things first. I bought the fan from the VivoSun store on Amazon, and was pleasantly surprised to see that the fan was the same price as the previous clip-fan. Introducing a new product without raising the price is a great move, if you ask me. It’s clearly a better product than its predecessor, so let me list through the features that I think are worth mentioning. 1. EC motor is so important!! All if not most fans can come apart for easy cleaning (except for a competitors fan, black, 6” clip-on, EC motor, I can’t seem to get the cover off!), but who wants to disassemble the motor and clean the inner workings? Nobody. The EC motor will increase the lifespan of the fan, as well as make regular maintenance so much easier. 2. Did I say cleaning? Who makes an EC fan without the ability to take the protective cover off? Not VivoSun, that’s for sure!! There is a single screw at the base of the cover (no special tools or tricks). Remove it and give her a slight twist, and the cover is off. Love it!! 3. I love the GrowHub controller app, and this fan plugs right into the system. What’s more, VivoSun doesn’t quip about cables… they use USB-C and if I need a longer cable, I just buy one. Not some over-priced, proprietary cable with limited availability. I like how they have embraced an international standard. Smart move! 4. It’s super versatile. 10 speeds, reciprocating, and controlled either manually with the EC buttons, the console on the GrowHub Controller, or through the app! I can’t say enough good things about this app, but that is another review I suppose. 5. Programmable. When used with the GrowHub Controller, you can program recipes for ventilation, and this is no different. As my plants grow more foliage, it is necessary to step up the airflow. Not a problem, as the recipe contains those changes, so when I switch recipes, it changes the schedule for the clip-fan. My plan is to replace the 4 VivoSun clip fans with these newer fans, and give these perfectly functional 6” fans to new growers, so they can get started out right. VivoSun is staying out front with innovation, and this new AeroWave E6 Fan is a winner for sure!!

I like the clip for being able to place it anywhere, but these cant handle too much abuse. I used these for about 4 months and both eventually quit oscillating. They are quiet at lower speeds and nice fan speed for the size but once one of the main functions fails, its kind of useless for moving air around

Quiet and very fast fan for the size and does exactly what it says and links up to your hub if you have one, I would definitely recommend it and cheaper than other models.

Best fan I have bought for growing indoors. Multi speed, quiet, and moves a lot of air for a small fan. The clamp is very strong and will keep the fan in place while running on high. Highly recommended if your looking to buy a fan that will last you a long time.

great unit as long as I get some longevity out of it, time will tell. Update, this is the second unit I have purchased, unfortunately the first one has developed a creaking noise oscillating which is only had 2 months use, so I will have to retract one of my star ratings.
