works well
Definitely works....really slows down freezing. Expensive though....might get same effect from homemade foil insulation sleeve...not as gucci of course. If going to spend a long time in subzero conditions then it makes sense.

Not cheap but worth it for the right reasons.
Expensive for what it is...but very much worth it when you're high altitude climbing & need a drink of water, rather than licking ice.

Does not work as marketed, condensation leaks right through the sleeve and soaks it and anything around it

Doesn’t seam to work as other Nalgene covers
Had previous versions of this with no issues, and bought this replacement for a hiking trip. However this cover creates a lot of condensation, making the outside of the cover wet. As it doesn’t fit outside my pack, it made everything in the pack wet. Unfortunately it’s past the return window so it was £25 not well spent.

Prevents freezing water for winter hikes
Perfect for winter hiking. I put warm water in my Nalgene water bottle then put it inside this thermal sleeve. I have 2 of them. One is in my backpack & a 2nd one attaches to the front of my backpack for easy access (using a Carabiner clasp sold separately). On a long freezing cold day hike my water does not freeze!
