PetLab Co. ProBright Dental Powder for Medium Sized Dogs, 30 Scoops | Brown algae, green tea and probiotics in one easy daily scoop to support tartar and fresh breath

We've been using PetLab ProBright Dental Powder for our standard poodle for at least a couple of years now, sprinkling it on his morning food. He accepts it without fanfare. For the most part his teeth look great, with a couple of spots on his molars as an exception. Easy to dip and sprinkle, and I like the look and smell; fresh. An unusual benefit is that after our dog got a full face blast from a skunk, initially his breath was enough to knock me over, but the ProBright helped clear up that stink in his mouth before the rest of him freshened up with the usual baths. So kudos to Pet Lab!

I saw my sibling's dogs had great teeth even without consistent brushing and when I asked what they did they said they used this dental powder. I'll admit, I was not good about brushing my dog's teeth consistently and a good deal of plaque built up since my dog's last non-anesthetic dental cleaning a little over a year ago. For background, my dog is pretty anxious, she loves people but travelling anywhere including a dental appointment requires her to be on maximum sedative doses which I truly try to avoid. I've given the powder to her for 3 weeks now and her teeth has improved SO much. The build up is almost all "dissolved" away BUT I did pair it with consistent nightly brushing using dog enzymatic toothpaste. (I've missed only a few days..). It's improved so much that I cancelled her next dental cleaning which I'm so relieved to do. I definitely hope to continue using this powder until all her plaque is gone and then reduce the use to every other day (due to cost) but continue with the consistent brushing. I definitely think it's worth a try if you're trying to avoid paying annually for dental cleanings.

I have two dogs. One has never had bad breath but the other one has breath that can melt a good day. At best her breath is sour, at worst it will empty a room. We've visited the vet, checked her teeth, and changed her food but I'm still on a search for the solution. I do use some of the breath freshener sprays and they work, but I am hoping to find something that works longer term so I don't have to scramble to find that spray when I need it. I purchased this product twice and added it diligently to her food for 2 months. Initially I thought it might be helping but I think my dog just had a run of 'sour' days. After the full 60 days I had spent close to $100 and still had a dog with putrid breath. I really wish it had worked. It is very expensive given the ingredients. If it were cheaper I may have tried it longer but if it wasn't making a difference after 60 days it seems unlikely it would suddenly make her breath better.

Dogs teeth showed improvement in less than a week. I continue to give it her to each day over dry food and she likes the taste and licks the bowl Even to get every bite.

This product has been a game changer. I have a rescue dog who has some stinky breath and some buildup on his teeth. After using this for about a month. You definitely notice a change. The breath smells better and the teeth look great. my dog is also very picky with what gets put in his food and I find that this really doesn’t have a strong smell at all, and he eats his food with absolutely no problem.

This probably is a good item. But my Juno is a diabetic that takes insulin and he vomited every meal with this Probright powder.

Love this! Helps me keep my dogs teeth clean. I do brush still yet this stuff really keeps their teeth white in the hard to reach areas. 1 scope a day or every other day does the trick. Very pleased with this product. Worked quickly with a noticeable different in their back teeth plaque.

I received this product on March 28th and today is March 31st. I have already seen significant improvement in my dogs teeth and the smell of his breath. They look so much better! He has an extremely sensitive stomach so we’re unable to use dental chews and other things that would help they all make him very sick. I was skeptical to purchase this due to the cost and no guarantee if it would work or not, but I’m really impressed so far. One scoop goes in with his breakfast and we’re done. As I mentioned he has a very sensitive stomach and this has not caused any issues. He has not turned away the powder mixed in with his food, either. His breath is not great yet but I think with continued use it will be and there has been extreme improvement. The scoop makes it easy to use and I don’t have to worry about measuring which I appreciate. I’m hoping this will be a continued success- I haven’t researched if this is okay to use long term but fingers crossed it will be.
