I’ve been eyeing these braiding disks at the store, but the price tag was a bit steep for the whole kit. Lucky for me, it went on sale, and I pounced on it like a cat on a laser pointer! This is my second disk in just three months—yep, I’m officially a braiding addict! Now, I haven’t ventured into other brands yet, but honestly, why would I? My original disk has been my trusty sidekick, braiding hundreds (yes, hundreds!) of beautiful creations. It’s been so well-loved that the threads started slipping, so I ordered this replacement. But don’t worry, it’s as tough as nails! The quality is top-notch—thick, soft, and flexible foam that gets the job done. Plus, the numbers are a lifesaver for beginners, and there are tons of spots to craft stunning braids. Even after my intense use, the guide is still peeking through, though a bit worn. I even got creative and used a razor to deepen the slots for a little extra life out of my original. Beadsmith is the real MVP here—their products are top-notch, and I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my disks. If you’re on the fence about diving into this craft, just take the plunge! The instructions are a breeze, and if they leave you scratching your head, there are a gazillion tutorials online that are super easy to follow and full of inspiration for your next masterpiece! Works great and fun and easy to do

This is actually a package of 3 discs. They are on the thin side and for a long piece with beads a weaver might find it flimsy. I doubled the discs to make it stronger. I prefer the smaller discs but this was all that was available for quick delivery. The BeadSmith quality is always excellent.

I saw a video of someone making a dog leash with this disk. Needed a new leash for my K-9 family member and decided to give this a try. Very simple to use a creates wonderful braids.

It works great! I've already made several bracelets. The written instructions could be better, but there are plenty of YouTube videos to help you get started. It's a lot of fun and very easy to use.
