This mount is perfect!
This transducer Mount worked perfect for my application. It is extremely well made high quality! The adjustable height range was perfect. The transom Mount Clamp was perfect. And the plate where you mount your transducer was perfect for my application. Now I can pull my transducer up when I'm using the boat at high speeds and when I'm trolling or fishing I can put it the transducer back down into the water. I highly recommend this product.

Handy option
Handy option for mounting transducer on boat. We didn't want the transducer on the boat full time since it is also used for hunting in reedy areas and the bracket could get caught in the vegetation. This solved the problem so that I can use the fish finder when I need it.

It broke the first use.
We were anchored and a <20hsp boat came by about 50 yards away and that wake BROKE the plastic crankshaft and luckily I was warned by the resort owner of their lost Garmin on a junk mount like this & I caught the Garmin! My husband bought this too early for the trip, so too late for a refund from amazon. I will contact the manufacturer and see if they will refund me.

Swiveling ?
To swivel the post out of the water you have to unscrew the knob so far out before swiveling otherwise the "gears" catch each other and snap off. All of the "clogs"on the gears broke off mine and I think I like it better this way. Now I Just snug it up and swivel...don't have to loosen it up every time I swivel it out of the water.

great fish finder mount for small boats.
great transducer and fish finder mount for kayak for small boat. high quality hardware, well though out and easy to use. Lightweight yet sturdy. The clamp is a bit bigger than is needed for aluminum boat and canoes with narrow gunnels, but it still works. Nice mount for fish finder screen, easy to reposition for optimum viewing.
