Fountain Cleaner and Clarifier for Outdoor and Indoor Fountains – Safe for Plastic, Metal, Glass and Stone (32oz)

We bought a house with a fountain that hadn't been used or maintained in years. Amazingly the pump still worked. When we filled it with water and turned it on the smell was unbearable and the water was yellow bordering on green. Because of the design we really couldn't get into the reservoir to clean it out manually. After a couple doses of this stuff the smell went away and the water now flows clear.

This works so well. It makes the water in my fountain clear and clean. Easy to use. I put two capfuls in once a week. It’s safe for birds and cost effective.

Just used the product so waiting to see the result. Seems to be slightly clearing the water at this point

THIS STUFF IS GREAT! Keeps the fountain floor from turning green for nearly two weeks. Dogs continually drink out of fountain, and the product states it's safe for dogs to drink water treated with it. I've bought three containers this summer. A little expensive, but definitely worth the price.

Don’t waste your money on this expensive junk! I recently set up a solar shower diy birdbath and didn’t realize how fast the entire thing gets slimy and green with algae within a few days. Bought some of this stuff for A LOT OF MONEY for the 8oz bottle and figured I’d try it. When it arrived, I was SHOCKED at how smol the bottle was! I used the suggested amount, and after tightly securing the top (as instructed on the label), I put it on my greenhouse work bench. I guess the dam cat knocked it over and the entire contents leaked out. $18 gone just like that! I checked for ingredients on the bottle and on the company site thinking may I could mix up my own batch but there were ZERO ingredients list anywhere. You know why? BECAUSE IT’S SO SIMPLE TO MAKE! So I emailed the company directly explaining the leakage issue and asked for a replacement bottle as a good business gesture but NEVER got a reply. Not even a “sorry.” After more online research, I discovered that to slow algae growth in water (just like this junk promised), just put a number of COPPER PENNIES (pre 1982 use10,20,30 in each tier depending on size) in the water because copper inhibits algae growth, it’s harmless to wildlife and it’s cheap! Or buy several of the copper bird bath disks from Amazon. They last forever which saves you money and works MUCH BETTER than this WAY OVER PRICED junk from this bad customer service company. COPPER PENNIES WORK PERFECTLY! USE THEM INSTEAD!!

Have used this product for a while and it does keep the fountain clean.

This stuff is AWESOME. I live in Texas with 100°days. My fountain was getting green and cloudy within a few days in Texas sun. When I first got it, I just added it to my existing water. It helped a little, but not much. So do yourself a favor. Buy this stuff and do what I did. Start with a clean fountain. Drain and clean your fountain first. Use a scrub brush, appropriate for your fountain, Fill the fountain with clean fresh water. Use 30ml per 5 gallons of water. Clean debris from the fountain on a regular basis, especially the pump intake. I top off my fountain once a week, due to evaporation, etc.... add another 30ml per 5 gallons. The water is clear and barely a tint of any color.

So far so good. We've only used this in our backyard Texas fountain for 2 weeks, but it has kept the water clean. I'll let you know how it goes!
