I bought this roof rack due to the good reviews. It was easy to install and was very secure on the top of my car (2022 BMW X3 M40i). The road noise was minimal. Unfortunately, it was not compatible with my boat rack (for a 1x rowing racing shell), which deformed the crossbars very easily. I was so bummed, however, customer service responded to my subsequent questions very quickly and issued me a full refund. They were great to work with and, even though this product didn't work me, I would recommend this company and product to others who have more standard/mainstream needs.

Paper instructions little difficult to follow /but video was fine. Relatively easy to install /put together. Seems sturdy. Good deal for the price.

Perfect fit for my 2017 BMX X1. Have not experienced any wind noise as other reviews have stated. Highly recommend it!

Disappointing product. The rack consists of clamps which attach to your cars roof rails, and side to side bars which go into the clamps. The clamps were secured with two screws and worked well. The side to side bars are held in place by a cam screw on each end, and here is where the problem is. The bars as supplied are supposed to seat all the way into the side clamps but were several inches too short. After tightening with the cam I could move the bar side to side with one hand. I contacted support and ultimately they said the supplied bars were about 4 centimeters too short and they would send replacements of 97 and 98 centimeters. The replacement bars were shorter than what they told me they would be at 96.5 centimeters. I asked support if this was ok and they said it would work, however the replacement bars also would not be secured side to side. Unfortunately now I'm faced with returning this and paying a fee. I would avoid this product.

Solid and good looking roof rails for 2011 Bmw X1. Holds 165 lbs and put a storage box on top and fits really well all together. If you need racks and don’t want to spend $600 plus for a set for the bummer then I would recommend purchasing this item. I would prefer metal components over plastic for security reason however this item secures well enough to prevent theft. Happy travels !

For the price I’d have to say the fit to the vehicle was perfect in my case. Took only a few minutes to assemble and get on the vehicle. Everything lined up and seems to have tightened well. Have not yet run them with a load, but from what I can see they will do just fine. I only need them for a couple times per year, and so to save a few hundred over the OEM, I’m cool with that. If I were going to use rails all year long…I’d probably invest in OEM, as I would imagine some of the hardware will begin to rust after exposure to road salt and I think the OEM would hold up a little better…maybe.

It looks good and serves it's purpose. Not great aerodynamics design so you hear wind noise when you drive > 80km
