We needed a sleep solution for our smaller guests that can be tucked away when not in use. We bought this folding mattress for our 7 year old Nephew, who visits us during the Holidays. My nephew and his mom would take over our small office during the Christmas holiday season when they got from out of town. When they are gone, the folding mattress is tucked away in one corner of the office. The folding mattress has a decent carrying strap that allows us to easily move it from one side of the room to the opposite. This is the first season that our nephew used the follding mattress. He commented it’s more comfortable than the futon bed. The 4” thickness provides plenty of comfort to the older kids, yet folds up nicely to be stored away. It weighs about 25-30 lbs if I have to take a guess, which makes the carrying strap a nice feature to allow easy handling of the mattress. The quality appears to be good. We expect the folding mattress to last at least 7-8 years if my Nephew doesn’t grow too fast to exceed the length of the mattress. By then, he will be in high school and may not want to spend the Holiday season with his mom and us anymore. I am pretty confident the mattress would provide a decent supportive sleeping solution for my nephew for years to come, much longer than he looses interest in spending time with us. This mattress would be a great solution for temporary house guests. It’s more comfortable than sleeping on sofa bed with springs, and it tucked away nicely without taking up too much space. I was extremely skeptical about this product, due to the negative results... so here is my honest review. It did take a little longer to get here than expected (only delayed by 2 days). It was all in one big box, which was a bit difficult to open without a box cutter. If you use a sharp object to open, please be extremely careful as all 3 sections are very compressed inside and it would be so easy to cut into the mattress. Once I opened the box all three sections were wrapped in vacuum sealed plastic which was easy to open. The only smell I can say I noticed is from the plastic it was wrapped in. After allowing it to sit and expand, there is no plastic smell. Definitely make sure that you have some storage space to lay the mattress out and allow it to completely expand! The instructions say to allow 48 hours for expansion, so that is what I did. (After 24 hours I wanted to bring it in and set it up because it appeared to be fully expanded, however after waiting 48 hours I realized that it still had a bit of fluffing up left to do so I'm glad I waited the full 48 hours.) The thickness described is very accurate, as are the measurements, so it fit on my queen size platform perfectly. It was very easy to zip together, and I am able to store it in my fold up bed dresser thing. I believe it's called a Murphy's bed chest? I have the queen size 6 in, so when folded it is able to fit in a space that is 18 inches deep. I will also note that I am around 250 lb, as is my partner, and we are both able to lay on this mattress without feeling the platform underneath. The memory foam is slightly firm, but it does have some give and when I lay on it I can feel where it is adjusting to my body. I think that's the best way to describe that.. I have had this bed for about a month, so I don't have a good review for a long-term use as of yet. This is our mattress for the bed we sleep on every night, and I can say that so far I do not notice any dips in where we have been sleeping every night. It always expands back to normal thickness. I can also say that we do not feel any dips in where the mattress Zips together where I have felt the separation in other brands. We use a regular queen size sheet on it to keep it clean, but I'm sure a mattress protector would fit just fine for those that need a little extra. The mattress itself without a sheet or anything is pretty soft though, so if you're not one to like sheets on the bed I'm sure you'd have no problems getting comfortable however, because of the fabric used, I wonder how easy it would be to clean with no protective cover at all. All in all I have to say that I was very very pleasantly surprised with how this mattress has turned out for us. -Update- It is still our daily... nightly...? Whichever, whatever... it still sleeps the same as when I first got it. Still no dips where we lay, and it still always returns to shape when we get out of bed. I'm actually about to order the twin size for my daughters room as soon as the remodel is finished! I still highly recommend. :)

This is nicer than expected. No outgrowing noticed. I was worried about discomfort where the cushions connected but I don't feel them at all. Conveniently folds away. It is firmer than expected. If you don't like firm mattresses, this is not for you. I'm hoping it softens up a bit.

Comfortable mattress that folds up and stores easily. It expanded to full size quickly and didn't have any chemical odor to it. The only thing that concerns me are the plastic zippers connecting each piece, they have held up well with daily use for the first week but not sure how long they will last. Overall, this mattress meets my expectations.

I ordered the Twin size memory foam futon cushion. It is advertised in the photos to come with the carry bag. Also In the photos reviews customers received their carry bags to store them in. I did Not. Also, the stitching of the handles on this mattress is cheaply done. In the photos the stitching is reinforced well with a large X stitch on each side of the handles. This was also one of the main selling points for me. Mine did not come this way, it is a single stitch and pulls the very thin material away drastically away from the cushion when trying to lift if. It's not going to take long for the material to rip because it's too heavy for the material. . I'm very disappointed. The handles also should be on the HORIZONTAL side for more ease of carrying and for ease of opening it into position on the bedframe. The handles should NOT be sewn on the vertical ends which makes it Impossible to carry for this way it is TOO TALL to have the handles on the vertical ends . I'm 5'7, with the handles sewn on the vertical ends, it makes the handles on the twin as high as above my rib cage.... how are you suppose to carry it from room to room ? You can't !!!! You have to DRAG IT ! ( See photos ). When handles are sewn on vertical end it makes it way too tall to carry & also you cannot open it as easy from the side than if the handles were sewn like the other companies which all of their's are sewn on the horizontal sides allowing you to be able to carry & open it onto the bed-frame or floor much easier. Some one wasn't using their common sense when they put this together. The Lazy company was Lazy in their design, construction & packing making sure I also received my carry bag, which I did not. I also want to add you CANNOT access the cushions to wash them as it is advertised " covers are easily removable from the cushions so they can easily be washed ". That is a fabricated lie. These cushions are sealed in shut by a seam on every side. There is only a HALF of a zipper sewn into each cushion cover, and it's not for removing the cover. It's only for connecting the cushions together !!! I also see consistency is a huge problem with this ' Lazy ' company for most of the customers reviews in all of their photos they show the handles reinforced and sewn in the proper position on the horizontal sides. How is it for the same product mine is completely different ????😡

Purchased for fold out murphy bed - user says it is very comfortable - it's 5 stars now - hopefully, it will last and be 5 stars in a couple of years.

Great mattress, kids will love it. Only problem is ordered and paid for a twin but the vendor sent a single. Too much drama to contest and I need it now. But beware vendor!!

No lo devolví porque sí está muy comodo, lo mande con un tapicero no pudo reemplazar los cierres pero le hizo uniones de tela para doblarlo, y quedó bien pero pagué más por ese arreglo.

Comes packaged well. Smells a bit after you first open it up, but leaving it out in the living room overnight didn't bother my wife and she is usually sensitive to smell. Fits our EV9 perfectly after a few cuts to the foam. You cannot feel the "folds" between the sections when laying on the mattress. Zipper seems on the cheap side, but adequate if you're cognizant of that. Happy with it!
