I had been using a heat gun that's a little bigger than a hair dryer to help get rid of the surface bubbles on my resin. This unit was the right price and works great for that job. It's a lot smaller, so it's easier to maneuver around my work area, where I often have different projects curing and have to be careful not to bump them. Before purchasing, I was debating whether I needed another tool for a really specific job when I already had the heat gun. Now that I have it, I'm quite happy. No regrets at all.

This heat gun works as advertised and is good value for the money. I also not expecting such a powerful air flow, I was hoping for more of a passive heat to help pop air bubbles, versus a hot air blower, but that is probably just a misunderstanding on my end. The air flow is quite powerful (and hot), and it sounds like a full on hair dryer when you're using it. It's not the best gun for smaller projects where you don't want your resin blowing around. It's a good size gun, easy to hold, and it stores nicely in a drawer. I do think the cord is a little too short, and it doesn't always want to stand up properly, even with the little kick stand deployed, it wants to tip sideways.

I love this heat gun. I use it with my resin. It is efficient for removing Bubbles. Thankfully, the temperature is perfect. It removes the bubbles without ruining my mold.

When working with resin you never want bubbles in your resin. Heat pops the bubbles so people use a lighter or in this case, I purchased this heat gun. However, I thought it just got hot like a cigarette lighter but no, it's like a hot blow dryer. Thus, it blows hot air into the resin and bubbles are formed by air pockets getting into the resin. Thus, this heat gun ADDED dozens of tiny air bubbles in all of my resin molds. I was very disappointed. I gave it 3 stars only because it does get hot and it does blow very strong, if that's what you want. That is not what I want. This product should not be advertised for resin because it does add bubbles, doesn't take them away.

This product does what I needed it to do. It is plastic and very lightweight. It feels cheap but it gets the job done.

I was very surprised to see how short this court is. You will absolutely need to get an extension cord.

I couldn't use it as plug was not standard British plug. My hardware shop said I couldn't get an adaptor for it so had to send it back
