**UPDATED**The dog door worked really well at first but after a few months one of the doors started sticking wide open.Apparently there was an issue with one of the springs in one of the panels.I contacted the seller, they were very fast in both replying and taking steps to fix the situation.In less than 36 hours we have a solution and it should be fixed in a couple of days.I'm very impressed with the seller.

Love this door! It looks sleek, shuts well and keeps out cold air. However, my dog who was used to a flap style door, is still struggling with it, especially coming back in. Here is my question: "Why are the doors tinted?" looks almost clear from the inside but like a solid dark surface from the outside. So from the dogs perspective not safe to push it open to come back in. I'll give it a little more time since he is now using it ok to go out. Will update later.Update: Doggie finally got the hang of it. Took over two weeks. Had to hold the door open and coax him to come through. Next step: I attached a leash and fed it through the opening and guided him through it (gently). He is not food motivated so treats didn't seem to do the trick. Eventually he graduated! Yay!

It was amazing the first week but now one of the doors doesn't spring back shut

We purchased this hoping to have the extra layer of protection from the elements with the double doors, which it has. We have 4 larger dogs that have no problem. Our oldest smaller dog has difficulty at times pushing both flaps.

I replaced an old dog door with this one. It fit without any issues into the same spot the old one was in. The door is sturdy and works better at keeping the weather out than the flap style door did. The only issue that I had which solved itself was that it took the animals a day or so to figure out how to use it and not be scared of it. I would definitely buy this door again if I need to.

This was a great dog door for the first 5 months we had it. We have 4 dogs, 3 golden retrievers and a corgi. Our female golden would eat the plastic flaps of our doggy doors, so it led us to look for something different. This door has not prompted her to chew on it and it sealed shut nicely for months keeping the cold out. The dogs loved using the door. Unfortunately the springs on the doors gave out and the doors no longer swing shut. Which is a bummer because it seems like there are no replacement parts for the doors. We are back to closing the door with the cover and letting the dogs go out manually.Update July 2024: We were able to find a replacement door but it only lasted a month before it broke the same way the original did. The parts are not hardy.

Very sturdy, really keeps the weather out! The magnets are really, really strong. The door has never stuck open or twisted. A perfect “lock” every time. Lots of pets here - one dog and one cat were very quick to get used to it. My other dog and cat were a little longer. It is quite hard to push open, but once they trust it, even cats can get in and out. Very pleased with this purchase

Quite often I find one door sticks open letting bugs etc into the house.One of the locking mechanisms falls down and locks my pup outside occasionally.Great idea but would not buy again.

This product is poor quality. The flap warps, the flap cracks. They do not respond to questions. If you have winter conditions this is not a product that will work
