Very powerful
So far so good. This thing has amazing cleaning power. I really like the bagless design and how easy it is to use and keep clean. The attachments are versatile and simple to switch from one attachment to the next. Overall, the quality exceeded my expectations. My one and only complaint is the one I read before I bought it, and that is that the cord is not as long as I would have liked. I attached an extension cord so problem fixed. The rest of the device has been perfect for my LVP floors and I love how light weight and easy it is to use and how well it rolls around behind me without causing any issues.

Vacuum does it all
I bought this vacuum to replace a cordless vacuum I had been using almost daily to keep up with my two blue heelers and two long haired cats. I appreciate how this product has a decent suction and yet so lightweight. It's not the strongest vacuum I've ever owned, but pet hair doesn't stand a chance. Because my particular model doesn't have spinning brushes, there's no chance of hair obstructing the suction canal on the floor attachment. I will note however that hair will accumulate on the wheels of the floor attachment, but they can be picked out rather easily. It's a canister style vacuum that is so lightweight, I can use one of the two handles and carry it in one hand while vacuuming with the other with complete control. The cord is automatic rewinding which is nice, I didn't realize for about a week that pressing the top handle down will activate that feature. I've had this vacuum about a month now, using it almost daily. Works great, easy to clean, easy to use. I even use it to clean the pre-screens on my A/C window units and air purifier. If you have pets and are scrolling reviews for an affordable but versatile vacuum, stop scrolling, buy this one. I would gladly buy another if I needed it.

Powerful vacuum, convenient size.
I like this vacuum a lot. I just got it and I have tried a couple others of late but this one I'm going to keep. The only reason I gave it four stars is the cord could be longer. If it were 5 ft longer I wouldn't have to unplug it and keep plugging it in elsewhere in my home. It runs very smooth, the wheels are very nice, it has good suction, it picks up dirt really well on my tile floor, it seems like it will last a while. It has some nice attachments with it. I wish they could live on board the vacuum but it is pretty small so I understand. It doesn't have a battery so that's not an issue. It has very good power for cleaning up on the tile but I wouldn't use it on carpet even though it says it's made for carpet. I did a video on tile and on carpet but I'm only allowed to post one video. To me, it's just too hard to run on the carpet. I think carpet is better served with a vacuum that has an actual roller. I like the telescoping wand of this unit, and the fact that I can see how much dirt is in it and there is no bag. It has adjustable suction both on the wand and on the vacuum itself. The cord stays out until you push a button which is nice because on my older one if you accidentally bumped it it would suck the cord back in and whip your ankles if you weren't careful. Yikes! All in, I recommend this product.

So far so good
I bought this because we are pulling out carpets from rooms to put in very nice vinyl flooring. We had wood for the main walkway areas, hallways, tile in bathroom and kitchen with carpet only in the bedrooms. One day a pipe had broke in the bathroom and ended up flowing out into the hallway causing a lot of the wood floor to bubble and warp. We we were tired of having to worry about spills or break plus the amount of dust and grime carpets hold. My other vacuum at the time is also maybe 9 yrs old. I have had to do small repairs and feel enough is enough. Old girl needs to step down. So I invested in this and so far I havent been disappointed. But I havent used it much so not putting 5 stars yet. Again renovations are still happening and a lot of dust from sanding, buffing down drywall compound on walls being replaced, has way to much fine junk all over the place. For now I am sweeping daily but I dont want to ruin the mechanism or fans in this vacuum with all that. So waiting on renovations to be done, crud from it is all clear, to then give it a real work out. We had one room done and finished that is far away on one side of the house from the renovations so I did use it in that room. It did a great job and cleaning up fur from the cats off the floor and any other fine things. Please keep in mind most vacuums and even more so types like this are not meant to pick up items which can risk getting stuck in tubes. If you have to question if you should suck it up or not, likely you shouldnt. Just pick up the item and toss it yourself. Its better not to risk ruining a vacuum out of laziness. Dumping what was picked up out of the canister was easy, love the fact the cord winds back up into the machine and I filled up quiet a lot in that room alone. But its mainly due to the fact I had to also keep my two cats in there while contractors are working on other areas. They open and close a lot of doors and dont need pets escaping the house. For me so far it was worth buying but I need more time to use it when renovations have ended to give it a full 100% review.

bad design which will eventually make it fail and why so many complain of poor suction
I used it once, just to vacuum the stairs and it got hot. So I opened it up and there was almost nothing in the collection chamber, while the cyclone chamber was full with hair that was not able to pass into the collection chamber. Then I noticed that the plastic before the motor and the plastic after the motor (when I removed the exhaust hepa filter) was smeared with fine white dust, and so were the filters, of course. Bagless vacuums use cyclones to spin debris out of the airstream so the filter doesn’t clog immediately and the vacuum keeps suction. Here is why I say it will fail: this vacuum uses a side-eject cyclone and not a true downward-drop cyclone. It is a horizontal, two-chamber hybrid separator, and that makes it fundamentally limited in how well it can move debris from the cyclone to the collection chamber. The cyclone must eject debris sideways through an upper-rim opening into the second chamber. This requires particles to stay suspended high in the vortex long enough to cross that opening. Hair and heavier debris drop immediately to the bottom of the cyclone, forming a mat that blocks the airflow path. Once hair accumulates, the vortex weakens, centrifugal force collapses, and almost no debris is thrown sideways into the collection chamber. The cyclone chamber begins to store debris even though it was never designed to, which further blocks airflow and prevents proper separation. Because the collection chamber sits beside the cyclone instead of below it, gravity cannot assist debris drop. Everything depends on vortex strength, which this design cannot sustain when faced with hair, lint, or fine dust. As the cyclone clogs, fine particles bypass it entirely, loading the premotor filter and eventually reaching the motor and exhaust HEPA. This causes rapid loss of suction, overheating, dirty motor air paths, and frequent maintenance. A proper cyclone uses a vertical design with a drop zone underneath; placing the collection chamber at the same level fundamentally limits separation efficiency and makes the system fail under real-world debris like hair. Word of wisdom: If choosing a cyclone model then it must be a true cyclone, with a vertical chamber, not side by side chambers! Word of cautious: Nearly all bagless vacuums use some form of cyclone, but only mid- and high-end models use effective cyclonic separation.

Absolutely phenomenal for hard floors and wool area rugs! Great suction.
I have to say I LOVE this vacuum. I have one of the new San Francisco micro apartments so space is limited. But I have 3 large area rugs that are all wool. This vacuum is perfect for them. The suction is phenomenal and I used the vacuum right out of the box for a deep clean on my entire apartment. I even used it to clean my MacBook keyboard. The suction is adjustable as is the hard floor to carpet adjustments. I had been using the Shark cordless. This vacuum blows it away in quality, versatility and ease of use. It also fits in the exact same space I had my cordless stored! I highly recommend this for other urban dwellers with limited space. Even the dust cup has a large capacity. The cordless had been doing such a poor job that when I used this vacuum it filled the dust cup up three times with dirt and carpet shedding that had been missed.

Decent bagless canister for around $100
I needed a vacuum while staying at a friend’s smaller 2-bedroom house for a couple weeks. They have 2 cats and their cordless was on its last legs. I needed something small and inexpensive, with a reasonably large dust bin and enough power to get cat fur out of the thick pile rug while also working well for surfaces. A battery powered model was not going to have the oomph at the price point I was looking for, and an upright wasn't going to make much sense for cleaning surfaces and hard floors, so I settled on a canister model. Occasionally I see Miele C1’s for as low as $275-300, and if that was available when I was looking, it would have been my first choice. It's more than double the cost of this Eureka, but the convenience of a bagged model with excellent suction combined with a proven longevity it would have been a worthy splurge. But there wasn't one available anywhere near that price on short notice, so I went looking at performance reviews against what was available either nearby or with Prime delivery and I landed on this model. I knew I wasn't going to get a powered floor brush for the rug, but I was hoping that the extra power would make up for it. I had higher hopes for the suction-driven brush attachment (I always call these "power paws") since I have had good luck with them from other manufacturers in the past (Dyson, Miele). And otherwise I was just hoping it had reasonable airflow and suction. What it does well: - The team at Eureka clearly studied the competition. The automatic cord rewinder, adjustable suction, top-mounted controls, and stand mode were all clearly inspired by well established canister vacuums like the Miele line; they all worked well. - The cord rewind lever has you hold it down while the cord rewinds, which I prefer to the automatic version on the Miele if only because it provides a bit more control and guards against accidental retraction - I appreciated that the rewind lever flips up into a handle to make it easy to carry - The suction was reasonable out of the box, and the vacuum was moderately quiet even at full power - The dust bin is quite reasonably sized for such a small unit; larger would be more convenient, but not at the cost of making the machine larger. What it does not do so well: - Emptying the bin is messy, like with most bagless models. The pre-filter is not secured to the dust bin well, so it frequently falls off when dumping the contents of the dust bin. - The power paw (suction-driven brush attachment) is terrible. They mimic the mechanics of the Miele one so I don't know what went wrong, but it seizes up easily. Hair and fur were easily trapped around the various shafts and against bearings, causing friction. It does come apart for cleaning quite easily (tool free), but I spent more time cleaning the attachment out than I did using it. - The vacuum lacks the suction to clean even firm woven rugs and mats without a powered brush. It's unfortunate they didn't include one with this model because it would have made all the difference. - The cord was surprisingly short, especially if you follow the manufacturers direction not to pull it out further than the yellow marking—in practice I could only get roughly 12' from where I was plugged in when accounting for slack to avoid yanking it out of the wall. Who is this good for? If you're looking for a small, reasonably quiet vacuum for hard floors and surfaces that is easy to carry and affordable, I do think this is worth considering. If you have a lot of upholstered surfaces or carpets, large rooms, or want something more allergy-friendly, though, I don't think you'll be happy with this model.

Easy breezy smart little vaccuum
This vaccuum is wonderful. The base rolls and flows around very easily. The retractable long arm is great in your back, and the attachments make it quick and easy to switch from floor to just the hose for corners easily. I like that the brush attachment for the hose is permanently on the hose so you can click it out or back and not have to go looking for that piece that often gets lost. Easy to clean out, nice retractable cord feature. It sucks up great. Love love.

OK
Not entirely happy with this vacuum. It has good suction power but find it lacks in other areas. I find the hose is not long enough and is not flexible enough (very stiff plastic). I do not like the floor attachment. The handle area is too wide for my hand to hang on to, probably made for a mans hand size and the plastic it is made with is difficult to grip. I will continue to search for a product that I can be happy with. I use to have an EUREKA vacuum before that I loved but it is not this one.
